I am NOT accepting random friend requests at all. Please read why in my Q/A section under my info box for more information.

"Everything's backwards now. Like out there, is the true world, and in here is the dream."

I'm just a filthy casual who plays games a bit too much.
Just call me whatever my alias is set to, I don't care. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

- As said before, I won't accept a friend request unless you tell me why exactly you are friending me. Also, I probably won't accept it if you are VAC banned, or trade banned.
- In short, no random friend requests.
- If you decide to not talk with me, you may be inevitably be removed from my friends list at some point.
If you're feeling super salty then you've come to the right place!

I originally come from the console world, but I used to not play much on PC, Why you may ask? Well, simply because my old one was outdated and a potato.

Here's a bit of an unnecessary summary about my journey through the world of games.
I started on the Game Boy Advance in 2003, which was my first real 'console', then got myself an Xbox 360 in 2009, and then moved to the Xbox One in late 2014.
I played mostly, unsurprisingly, Minecraft (Thanks, Youtube), and Halo back in 2009-2012 or so, eventually moving on to other games in early 2014 mid 2015 in a much-needed effort to diversify my tastes a bit. Sure, I mostly play the same games today, but I didn't have a strong genre preference. In Feb. of 2018, I was falsely banned for a second time that year, I decided enough was enough, and I took the choice to start shelling out money for a new PC, and completed my project at the end of July 2018. So, if you're reading, yes, hello, I'm several years late to the party!

What's my cup of tea?
Yo. What's up. If you're reading, welcome to the salt mines.

Metalhead, avid RPG enthusiast who also happens to like dragons and a certain band that people may or may not have heard of.
I also play games way too much.

No, I'm a filthy casual. I don't just play to win. I play to hang out with friends and have fun.

So have a load of silly stuff that nobody will read beyond this point, I guess.

Questions I get...

Q: Favorite game?
A: While I don't base off of playtime, likely Monster Hunter, just the series in general, rather than an individual title. While I never got to play any of the older games when they were in their prime, I stuck with the franchise regardless if I could play it or not and until 2018, none of them were on mainstream platforms, I went back and played quite a few of them anyways since at least most of the old ones can be emulated now. (They're definitely worth playing!)

Q: Least favorite game, if any?
A: Fortnite. I just can't stand the cheesy marketing, radioactive waste dump of a community, and generally broken mechanics. You can like it, but you can't say it isn't toxic. I also generally don't like the Epic store for it's lack of features, shady business practices, bait-and-switching, sellouts, and the fact I am generally against exclusivity. I already have too many launchers anyways. The Epic Games launcher has not been on my system and I assure you it never will be.
People claim I'm too critical and nitpicky, but what I say about the platform is true.

Q: May I friend you?
A: I'm not accepting 'random' friend requests. This means random, out of the blue friend requests. If you have valid reasoning behind friending me, post in my comments, and I'll probably accept it.
- If you're VAC banned, trade banned, game banned, or especially if you're community banned, I may not accept your request.
- No level 0 accounts or accounts with mostly/only F2P games, due to the potentiality of smurfs and or scammers.
- I have zero tolerance for self-pity. "(Sad)", "(Depressed)" and whatever tags in people's names (or info boxes) are annoying and I will not accept friend requests from anyone who has tags like that in their names (or alias history) under any circumstances. People like me play games for a reason. That kind of stuff really kills the vibe for me.
- Just a quick note, I may also simply remove people from my friends list without warning with no hesitation. If I feel that someone cannot be trusted or if they give me weird vibes, I will likely just cut ties. Life is too short and I'm getting too old to keep dealing with those types anymore.
- Absolutely NO PRIVATE PROFILES unless you give me a valid reason!

Q: May I trade with you?
A: No.

Q: Do you play other platforms?
A: Not anymore, and with my reluctance to pay a monthly subscription for a generally lackluster online experience, I don't plan to play consoles (eg. Xbox) anymore.
Call me a PC elitist all you want, but I switched for a reason.

Palworld does what NintenDIDN'T - Making real innovation on the pocket monster catching genre.
Imagine open world survival game elements of Ark or Rust while not requiring a high end PC combined with the monster collection elements of the beloved genre, as well as automating our base (using said Pals), giving a degree of management similar to games like Satisfactory. It's a unique marriage that I didn't know I needed, and I regret bashing this game when it first launched, and honestly should have bought it sooner.
Oh, and it feels less like Pokemon because the combat is not turn based, rather completely done in the open world, which, combined with the player character's involvement, makes fights feel very dynamic and gives more depth to the game, even if the list of monsters and typing is overall smaller.

There's a few features I'd like to see in the future combined with an expansion to the list of Pals we can catch, but I can excuse these because of the small development team and Early Access status.

And Nintendo, if you're reading this, you've lost what respect I still had for you as a company. Not because you refuse to innovate with your games, or your wrongful nuking of game preservation sites, or your continuous cease-and-desist letters against fan projects (and Gmod content), or even the abysmal launch of Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, but because you are actively suing the developers of this game on a completely fabricated claim of patent infringement, all because this game utterly embarrassed your series and you were petrified of the thought of any legitimate competition existing - You failed to make a copyright claim against Pocketpair stick, so you wrote a shady patent AFTER the game came out to resort to so-called "patent trolling". I can only hope that your frivolous and possibly downright illegal lawsuit will inevitably end in a complete and total failure.

Also, hats off to Pocketpair for assuring players they will never use the Live Service game model.

TLDR - Buy this game, even if you don't really enjoy the genre. You'll probably enjoy it, and the pro-consumer developers deserve my money. It's impossible to hate this game, and the very minor problems are so easily overlooked and even for me, rather nit-picky.

10/10, I stand with Pocketpair!

Who knew my once nearly top-tier setup would become so outclassed in just 5 short years? I'm THREE generations behind in terms of hardware! :D I am proposing a total system overhaul for 2024 however, just in time for my system to turn 6 years old.
