A window says: "RANGE CHECK ERROR." greeting

went ahead and grabbed a steam.dll from another game , put it in folder , game still doenst load did just about everythign else, run in xp mode svc pack 3 , blah blah blah run as admin blah blah blah check integrity blah blah blah im well aware of what usual steps to take initially , just want to play a piecefull puzzle game i got off that bunlde, any help appreciated...

Can't get any of the demos to work on steam deck. They all fail with various error messages. Good that I tested before purchasing. Many of them are listed as playable but don't actually work.

The game stopped running. freezes at startup. And steam freezes too. You have to restart the computer to do. Before, everything was normal. Last played on 31 January.

Yeah I was reinstalling this game (and the other first two) and they are no longer on my games library list. Has anyone else noticed this?
