I have done what I can redo the mod for modern Stellaris.
Thank you Dwaine for the amazing mod from almost six years ago.

For those saying this mod no longer works, it does, but it is incompatible with certain mods. Real Space - Colour out of Deep is the one for me that it's incompatible with. But to be clear, it does work.

As of 2.7, this and the other astronomical objects mods do not work. I have noticed that when I open the ship builder it still shows like normal (except that its spinning at 100 mph). Also, when I tell any ship to move to a new system the graphics show up but they are horribly disfigured and the colors are way off.

Moe Mod Compilation
Greetings, And thank you for the creation of this awesome mod! I love it and wish to keep playing with it. However I have a request. After the recent Megacorp update I feel as though the game went a poor direction design wise. Portrait sizes are to small and many other things. As such I am playing with version 2.1.3 before the update. If possible can I have access to the mod version that supports V 2.1.3? I have a “Moe Mod Compilation” That it is apart of that I wish to keep playing with. I don't like the alpha texture artifacts on the borders of the textures and the low resolution.
Am I just doing it wrong, is there a fix for it, or does this mod need a little more love?

its a shame the quadrents and galactic objects vanish every time you plot a ship course as well, otherwise this would be a really solid mod

Hey, Dwaine, I think I have a solution for you.
Instead of attaching the quadrant as an entity, try adding it as a particle. Yeah, one giant particle. Surprisingly, it works very well:
Shows up on low graphical settings, doesn't disappear when you select a planet, doesn't spin like mad in the ship designer. The rings do reset their position when you open the designer or enter a system, but it's way less noticable.
Here, I packaged it in a mod (and also cleaned the rings from white pixels). I can host it myself until/unless you update it.

The ability to toggle the text on or off (or make the font smaller and/or make it rotate with the rest of the graphic) would mucho improvo. I sometimes restart just because my home system is right in the middle of a letter which feels lame.

I've discovered that the overlay disappears whenever a species portrait is showing (like in the Planet Menu, Species Menu, etc.) Hope that helps.

Great mod. Though everytime I open up the planet menu the reskin just disappears and is really annoying to look at. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks for the great mod.

When selecting certain ships, the rings for the quadrants vanish. When selecting Ship Designer, they suddenly spin at mach 1204921940214091.

Is there a way to have a version thats not high graphic setting? I keep my setting on medium so to help with dealing with fps decrease in laye game for 1000 star galaxies.

@tmonahan23, Yes it's compatible with every galaxy reskin and yes, with medium or low graphics quelity, the quadrant will not appear. Stellaris is auto hiding the mod when high graphics option isn't activated.

@Captain Jin, known bug, I'm trying to finding out why.

When going into the Ship Designer screen, the quadrants go at light speed around the map. Minor glitch, but the fact that it works when opening Ship Designer and not other menus might help figure out how to make it more universally stable. Fantastic mod btw

Allright people, as per request, this mod can now be used as a standalone or addon with the main mod.
IF using it as standalone, the game will throw some harmless warning in the log.
I've left animation, for now, and is looking for a solution.

@TheFineSelector, yes, it has been asked a reasonable number of times, I'm trying to find a trick to make this both compatible with astronomical objects and stand alone.

@Tavmminqat, no, I have no power over that, it's the game engine deciding what to display. That's a core engine thing that only dev can manipulate (as far as I know).

@[VGM] Snowduck, @Lt. Angelo/Cupcake, @VoynichArchitect, @Hazzard52,@AmberGoldPL, it's a known bug, to be precise, whenever a portrait appear on screen, the entities disappear, you can easily test it, select a science ship, right click on portrait to remove leader, and boom, entities are back. As for the ship designer, not a clue, I'll probably have to remove animations.

@Sr. Arijo, you need graphics quality set to high to see them, otherwise stellaris auto delete them.

@Tanner, It's a bit complicated, I've tried but rotation angle is set randomly when entering galaxy view. I've no real answer for the problem you quoted, that's why I'm very reluctant to make the text and quadrant more visible.

I noticed 2 bugs:
- quadrant lines dissapear when you select science ship
- when you enter ship designer the quadrant lines in the background start to rotate/pulsate like crazy.

May I also suggest to add "Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma" markings to the quadrants?

I ran into some bugs with this mod. When i have a science ship selected the rings disappear. When i have the ship designer open the rings start flashing and in general freakout. When i have government,demographics,contacts,technology,planet and sectors,species,leaders, and fleet manager selected the rings disappear. when i have my combat fleet selected, the rings disappear. When i have my planet selected and is on the galaxy map, the rings disappear. Transport fleets also cause the rings to disappear. If anyone has solutions for the bugs please tell.

somehow the mod and the Addons dont work, there are no Circles or new clusters when i create a new Game, i did delet all Mods that effect universe gerneration. Can anyone help me solve this problem?

@Dezert Agreed, and I would even be satisfied if the measurement units and core/rim notations roated as well, so you don't end up with your home system being right dot underneat the letters which is oft times annoying lol

Just to reiterate: probably my favorite mod I've found in a while - thanks again for making this

One suggestion, but it might not be for everyone, would be to denote quadrants in the overview as well i.e. alpha/beta quadrants and so on

@Tactical Heathen, I know, and there's nothing I can do about it, I think it's hardcoded. The entity I use to hook this mod was, I think, never supposed to be seen, hence the many bugs.

@Erykx225, I coulod, the problem is that I can't remove these dynamically, so "here be dragons" would be from start to finish.
