It is okay to dip your oreos in water.
There has not been one valid reason as to why dipping your oreos in milk is okay, but dipping your oreos in water is not okay. To me, this gives it a very nice texture that just goes down a lot easier. I'd rather let it melt than have to crunch on 10 oreos straight and feel like i'm about to chip my tooth. And I have not gotten a single valid reason as to why it is not okay to dip them in water. I've had people say "oh it's because milk has a flavor and water doesn't hurr durr" but when you think about it, that logic is ridiculous. Would that make it okay to dip your oreos in chicken broth or pure sriracha then? Because those two things have tastes. And I even had my mom, the woman who gave me my life, tell me that it's because milk is white and water isn't. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ white. I can not believe the woman who birthed me would say something like that. I guess it just makes it okay to dip it in like, elmer's glue. In fact, I'm pretty sure the entire reason as to why people enjoy dipping their oreos in milk is because it gives it that soggier texture. In which case it's actually MORE enjoyable to dip your oreos in water, because it makes it even better. Milk is thick. It's a thick liquid. A thiquid, if you will. I will fight until my very last day of life to destigmatize dipping your oreos in water. Even within a poll of this server's VC, I had every single person tell me it's not okay to dip your oreos in water. All 7 of them. Well guess what. I'm an oreo water dipper. And I'm proud, damn it.
