Intro

            BEFORE YOU START

This guide will teach you how to install a user script
that provides a ruler inside guide section previews!

With it, you can easily format your text inside guide sections
or even center it with an outstanding precision!

Side note: This guide was written with a help of this ruler.

How To Install

The first and the most important step is to install a userscript manager on your web browser.

                     For Chrome:
The most recommended extention for managing user scripts is Tampermonkey:
       chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tampermonkey/dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo

                         For Firefox:
It is recommended to use Greasemonkey as a userscript manager for this browser:
             addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey

After you install one of the userscript managers above,
just click the link below to install the user script:

How To Use

         []

Once you've installed everything correctly, open your guide,
enter the edit mode of any section and press the "Preview" tab:

This is what you will see in the background of your guide preview:
This is the ruler which appears in the guide section preview.

Now, let me explain you real quick about those lines you see on it...

These divide editable sections into equal parts.

The thickest one placed in the middle
separates the whole area in two equal halves.

Every next half is in turn separated in half by
thinner blue lines until the last half is separated.

These determine the width of quote areas.

The first ones, the closest to the edge, indicate
where the sides of the quote box will be laid in.
The second ones indicate the sides of
a quote box laid inside a bigger quote box.

There are also two orange lines which indicate
the padding of the first quote box.

You can enable or disable the ruler by clicking the "Toggle Ruler" button.

By default, Steam doesn't center the text in guide sections:

If you want to make the text in your guide look centered,
paste some blank characters before the sentence.

Firefox, doesn't work, no idea. Also it seems like you have to restart it for greesemonkey to be able to pick and install the script automatically.

Very good guides! will not have any of how to create guides if? I've been looking in many places and I can't find how to put "buttons" in the description as you do in this one and more
