Ayalin Premium Specialisation Mod

Description
This mod is focused on Specialisations and adds more than 40 new spells to the base game, with:

- Since V7.0 and more, all possible combinations of Adept+Master combined into one unique specialisation, a set of seven quadra-combinations, one hepta-combination, and one octa-combination. FAQ regarding combinations- the point is to offer more customisation, you can still have a very balanced game experience if you setup all leaders from all players to play with the same number of spec, the number of stars on icons is here to help you. For example, you can decide that each players will have one dual or quadra spec and the two others being single or just no spec at all. This will keep the number of research equal between players. Finally, keep in mind that by increasing the pool of skill you can research you also reduce odds of obtaining each skills individually. While using combinations provides you more skills in the late game, you might be waiting quite some time in the early game before getting certain specific skills. All is up to your personal taste in this regard. (personal note- after experimenting a little bit, my favourite setup is one Dual + 2 single, so basically just one more spec than what the vanilla game provides)

- Six new brand specialisations with 6 new skills called “Adept Conflux” (V1.0), "Master Conflux" (V5.0, since 15/12/2022), “Blood Conqueror Adept” (V2.0, out since 11/06/19), "Master Blood Conqueror" (V4.0, out since 30/06/2019), “Academician” (V3.0, out since 13/06/19), "Archaeologist" (V6.0, since 16/12/2022)

- Various balance changes on all specialisations of the game

- Some rearrangements with the spell schools (water gets all the winter effect strategic spells for example)

- On average, one new spell for each specialisation of the game (at the end of the day, all spec in the game will contain 6 skills instead of 5, counting the inherent one).

- All the new content is translated in English and French only.

- Require both expansions

Hello everyone,
I am happy to present you my first of (I hope) a longer series of Mods for Aow 3. If I have enough courage and time I would like to revisit most of the Balancing / content of the game and add my own flavour into it. Overall my philosophy is to try to improve the current content and add new one while still respecting the game dev initial intentions.

If you like the mod don’t hesitate to give me feedback about it, also what you like / dislike and I will try to improve it progressively. I have a lot of other mods ideas for classes / new city buildings / new units and I will try to develop them as well

Hey Razzle, thank you very much for the kind words! So what you are refering to is without a doubt due to the Premium Tribe invasion mod, as it did modify a majority of the treasure site reward data.
I believe the gold you get from choosing troops is the excess gold value that units chosen do not have (example : reward value set to 500, but the gold price from units proposed is equal to 300 so there are 200 remaining), but it's not cumulative with the quantity you would have gotten from choosing the gold reward choice.
In short, you should still get (much) more gold by choosing the Gold reward instead of the Unit reward. If it's not the case then there is something wrong; could you maybe do the test when you can? Save before clearing a dungeon, then choose gold write down the value choose unit write down the value as well and normally they should be different.

Hi Ayalin, First og all amazing work you have done with the mods! You have given me and my hardcore friends what feels like a whole new game to enjoy immmensly! I have one bug, I would like to bring to your attention though: When emptying a dungeon, you can usually choose between troops or a gold rewards, you still can, but when you choose the troops, you get the gold reward anyway. It happens every time, I empty a dungeon with your premium mods, but not without them. So I hope, you will have time to look into, what is causing that. I am using all your recommended premium mods only. Thanks again for these amazing mods!

yo dev, check the "soul reaper" ability on the spirit of carnage. it says it gives a damage bonus. (thinking that's just a typo tho)

To cut things short, the best is to unselect all specialisations first before looking at available combinations.

So I believe it's because you already picked one of the component from Lord of Carnage; I did the system so that you cannot pick a combination if you have already selected a segment of the combination. This is to avoid having duplicates in the spell book.

found a bit of a bug. so i see a specialization in the compendium called "lord of carnage" but i do not see it among the selectable specilizations

just wanted to thank you for making and still maintaining these mods - they make AOW3 timeless, always some new combination of troops/skills to explore
