This game made me feel so many emotions. Some of them sad, some of them joyful. But in the end, it’s over and this mixed feelings toward the end match with the games theme, death. Death is inevitable. We have mix feelings toward to it. It is what natures demands us to live through. But we scared of death, because we think we can do so much more while we are alive. Maybe that’s why death is more scary when you are immortal.
Protagonist of the game, Pink, had a difficult task which is ending lives of the immortals, his friends. But he couldn’t do it. So, he needed help from a doll named Red. But Red is only a metaphor. Because he needed YOUR help. And you helped him on his journey and made many difficult choices. Maybe you doubted on your decisions. You feel unsecure, disturbed along the way. You thought about turning back. Leaving your ‘holy’ quest given by some frog who constantly plays his guitar. But you didn’t. You endured, even though it’s wearing you down, you continued your journey. In the end, you did remember why are you doing this, why did you go on a strange, compelling journey. For their sake. For your sake. Because you know, death is inevitable. But it doesn't have to be the last stop. It can be comforting.
We are all mortals (duh). But you know what? We are also immortals too. Well, as an idea at least. When we are dead, we continue to live through among other people’s head, in the history of the world. You can be immortal by writing a book, making a game, having a child, or just by living your life. And maybe that’s why death is a very scary concept on its own. Because we all know we are, somehow, immortals.
But death doesn’t have to be end of all things. I’m not saying there will be a next life or not. We couldn’t know. But that’s why it’s an intriguing concept. Because we don't know even the tiniest thing about it. But it doesn’t how to be scary. Even if you die tomorrow, even you think you didn’t do anything with your life and there are so many things to do with it, it’s okay. Because you left a, small or not, mark in other people's lives. And that’s what’s important. This game reminded me of that.
And hey, don’t worry because you are dead. Maybe we see each other in the waiting room!

As a person who played the OG persona 4, I could've not imagined that how these new contents are feeling like a part of the original game. Original game was already a masterpiece, not just as a JRPG but as a video game itself. But this game is even BETTER. I couldn't played it when it's first came out because I don't own a vita (who does in 2020). And now I finally played it and I loved it! Story is one of the best written story in the video game history. Characters feeling so real and their devolopment makes you reflect your own self through these character's development. And thus, you can develop as a person while bonding with people. Nothing feels slopy or old due to its great port. As a fan of Atlus's games, I really want to see Persona 3, 5 royal and other SMT games on pc (or any other available console) because they are so damn good. Even if you don't like JRPG's in general, give this game a chance. I believe that Persona will get you at some point.
