There is an importance to differing opinions that can often be overlooked.

Cyberpunk brings a rare opportunity to illustrate this to a very divided community.

We need the people who play this game and say that it is great. We also need the people who play this game and say that it is garbage.
The people who say that it is great see what good there is to be enjoyed here. Story, voice acting, and animations that make you actually feel something. As evidence i present the Panam arc. Without spoilers i can tell you that Panam constantly exposes herself emotionaly to the protagonist and you can choose to lean into or away from this. As someone who doesnt care for 'romance' or 'sex' in my games i can tell you that i leaned away from this because i see it as pointless, and her responses made me feel uneasy for being such an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥/callous.

We also need people who are angry about the state of the game at release, because without that anger and direction CDPR would not be motivated to make it the great game that we were all promised. You do need to be angry about the ridiculous police, and the subpar combat AI. You do need to be disappointed by the dead 'living world'. You do need to hold them accountable.

We need both sides of this. We need to let them know what work they did is great, but what work they didnt do has hurt us.

I played the 'demo' for 50 hours, and i bought the game at full price. I expect them to fix it, and i will be hurt if they dont. As someone who does boycott and who is a person of principle i can tell you i accept every EPIC free game and I have not spent a single penny with them since they let me down with 'Fortnite: Save the World'. If CDPR fails to deliver a drastic improvement to the game ill never buy another product from them.

But without both sides of this, we could end up with nothing at all. The people who are betrayed dont want that. They dont want a failure. They want the success that they waited 8 years for. The people who have bought the game also want that success to happen.

Without both sides, we might not ever get it. Both sides are important. None of us needs the judgement or ridicule of the other side which we dont stand on.
