Cute and romantic interactions with characters, the gameplay is not too bad, but unpolished, and ABSOLUTELY unbalanced. It feels a little incomplete sometimes? I'll grind for the feet scene though.

This game shows promise at first, but the enemies get far too spongy to use anything other than freeze and stab.

Crappy audio and stolen samples were the soul of Half-Life after all.

waste of time

This game is so bad... weapons feel and look awful, they are not balanced in the least, enemies keep throwing silent grenades that oneshot you through armor, the dialogue writing is painful at times. Don't waste your time with this.

Adds the Broken Empire and their own tier of equipment: 3 ultratech melee weapons, a new set of armor with 2 alternate versions, jump-packs, royal titles that strip away a pawn's ability to do certain work for the privileges of trading with the empire and psycasts. The vanilla psycasts can be pretty underwhelming at low levels (move some rocks, extinguish some flames, make a light source for free) but they get really strong with Berserk Pulse and especially Neuroquake. Pretty balanced too.

Pick it up if you like pushing your Rimworld roleplay to the maximum, but I really hate how it forces you to play a certain way only under threat of punishment, instead of rewarding you for playing correctly. I guess no punishment is a reward in a sense, but not in my eyes. It also adds roles which have special abilities (made redundant by modded Royalty psycasts) and increases people's expectations across the board.

Great DLC, adds tons of content. It could have been JUST genes, but it added children, friendly mechanoids and modified human races.

Full of technical oversights like input buffering on single-fire weapons, Reflex Mode makes enemies feel oddly tanky and removes your clearly visible bullet tracers in favor of barely-visible air smudges a la The Matrix.
