Review solely for NGS:

As an old time player of base PSO2, I can honestly say NGS is a huge DOWNGRADE.
Instead of hub style MMO, now NGS is an open world MMO. Why is this a downgrade?

-A bit lifeless open world
-Fashion is worse
-No care about base PSO2 from Sega
-You can only "partially" bring your old items from base PSO2.
-Less impactful boss battles
-Base game as a DLC, can't play it without downloading the freakin' NGS

-----No longer an MMO for grinding but an MMO with fashion gacha at its core while still being worse than the base game

This game is wonderful for newer players that does not hold any nostalgic feelings with the base PSO2. It's still enjoyable to an extent but with the diminishing player base, I suggest be careful with the game as it looks like it's on its last legs.

Starts slow as hell, then it gets better.
Pretty bad control mapping, and cannot be remapped. But it's still good.

Not-so-Dark Souls, more like Metroidvania with rougelite elements. Not so easy, but also not so hard like Salts and Sanctuary level.
Astonishing pixel animations, very much wow. 100% buy.
