So my buddy found a Toshiba Satellite P855-S5200 in the hot trash. This is an overpowered overheating laptop from 2012. Here are the specs and my temps cuz I got this beast running at max.

Core i7 3610QM 4 Core 8 CPU 2.3 GHz Turbo'd @ 3299 MHz
8 GB DDR3 1600 MHz
750 GB HDD
Intel HD 4000 1 GB Onboard

Windows 10 Pro Build 1904

I ripped off the keyboard, the cover under the keyboard, the slats off the bottom. Removed the DVD Burner and there was a dead fan that was supposed to drag all the heat off the heatsink. I removed the dead fan and have it on my shelf with a desk fan blowing on it 24x7

Temps when I got the laptop 90c idle 140c full load
Temps now that I fixed it up 40c idle 97c full load
My voltage went from .9v to 1.14v

In games as new as 2014 I get 180fps 1080p as long as I turn all the other settings low

Works for me! But this PC is especially good for loading Unreal Engine or Unity. xD

So I got 90GB for OS/System 400GB partition for Programs and 500GB for download files, audio video files, editing files, rpg maker files, ♥♥♥♥ i download and delete or alter over and over

i gotta set every thing up but i should get max fps in css and no more slow loading times

i wonder if the two chromebooks downstairs have any useable ram for this hp acer v core i5 from 2015?

they aint nothin but paperweights with good parts on the MB

F*** THE HOME EDITION - they do the basic we'll set it up for you and even with every open source window 10 hack tool out there - there's just no replacement to having full control over your operating system, especially when you want to put it thru the ringer and make it operate as if you aren't :steamsalty: :rockon: :angrybeast: :LitFirePlace: :scWitch: :lovecube:
