Definitely has its problems.

Re-alignment and camera issues are annoying, the heat mechanic and forced 50/50s are exhausting, the spammy nature of the game is annoying, and plugging is at an all time high, and Banco is refusing to do anything worthwhile about it.

However, at the end of the day it's a solid tekken game with a lot of work ahead of it. But as we know through the history of Tekken, the first year is where it's always the most broken/flawed. It'll get better. And what we have now is solid. It's worth picking up now, having fun with what we have so far, and seeing where it goes. I've been having a lot of fun with it, but it does have issues that people are fairly addressing.

The unforgivable way theyre monitizing is a complete joke though. I'll never defend them for:
-♥♥♥♥♥♥ battle passes without anything worthwhile in them
-The stage debacle
-You can't lab against charcters you haven't bought ????
-Tekken shops' offerings are very hit or miss. Mostly revolves around stupid avatar outfits that no one cares about/outfits from previous tekken games theyre selling for some reason.
