while I have nothing but good things to say about the gameplay, the fidelity and the characters, Bamco has really been going on a dark path with battlepasses to microtransactions, their defense was "the money made goes back into the game so they can pump out more content", then they have the audacity to charge for the first newly released map and no, the copy pasted stage that came with Lidia does not count, it feels like a direct rip off from Tekken ball, and the best thing is, it doesn't even come included with deluxe/ultimate, paying 110 bucks plus battlepass PLUS microtransactions, is not enough to release the new stage for free for ultimate owners, let alone rest of the community who have continued to deal with your scummy behavior
