(I play on Runelite through Steam to log some of my hours for fun)
(Unfortunately the Steam playtime is not quite enough to be the true amount....)

Its an experience, an adventure and a classic. The timewaster of all time.
The medieval fantasy cookie clicker. The game that teaches you about victories, defeats, gains and losses. Its social, or not if you don't want to. Its simple, yet complex at times. It requires patience, yet you can switch activities whenever you want to.
There is progression, an economy, the grind, humor, bugs, goblins, dubious characters, chatting, cabbages, scammers, player killers, magic, fishing, gods, swords, bots, monsters, repetitive tasks, clicking trees, challenging quests, and many useless items to collect.

Just watch out for the shady thugs trying to trick you for your gold coins, remember to congratulate your fellow players on their level-ups, and riot about game updates at Falador.
In the long run, I think you'll have a one-of-a-kind experience. Maybe even fun.
Oh, and speaking of Experience, you are going to need a lot of that.


10/10, dont play it, run while you can.
And make no mistake. You never quit Runescape. You just take breaks in between sessions.
