Put on your favorite pair of Blue Jeans and Hat, grab your trusty Assault Rile, jump in the Olde' Ford F-150 and save the County.
What's not to like.

This game actually rates as "one of the Games I'll always have installed".
After you finish the game and go GAME+ and get back into free-mode, this game delivers some enjoyable ride-a-longs with the NPC.
I find hiring an NPC with a lead pipe (MELEE), setting a way-point deep into enemy territory, letting the NPC drive with the tunes on and jumping out and whipping ass with a Bat along the way quite enjoyable and pretty much how I'd spend my time post apocalypse, or whatever..
If it descends into a Roadside fire fight ...
cool beanz, the guns and options are just enough to make them fun to use.

I find pairing up the NPC as hired guns based on their weapons and abilities and re-running particular missions EPIC.
Some of the Characters are funny and fun to run with. They pair up nicely and deliver some banter. They do offer a variety of approaches based on their weapon and abilities.

The Explosions rock.

Lots of stuff to go BOOM

The DLC Space Weapons are a hoot.

FUN
Basic First Person Shooter.
When it's a shooter, mostly it's a story and cut-scene game.
Sometimes less is more. In a lot of ways this is one of those times.
Because what is there is so well done.
Looks great and stays true to the original.
This is my, $20 bucks on sale, game of the year 2023.
I would call this a rainy day game, it's a relatively slow moving and easy game. But it stays so true to the movies it makes it OK for when there is nothing on TV worth watching. You get to be in one. As an older gamer I appreciate a nicely told story now and then in familiar settings.
The only real bone I have with it is the way the game saves, in chapters. Some can be quite long and once you pass up a side objective ... there's no going back to clean it up on that play through so that along with the movement speed of ROBO makes for a slow moving story game based on choices broken up with some fun ass arcade shooter.
It's casual way to pass a few hours on a rainy day, kind of a break from more demanding gaming pursuits. If you like the Movies and the lore you will not be disappointed in this game.
No annoying puzzles.
No quick-time events.
Not so many Boss Battles that the ones that are there are not enjoyed.
That's nut's, they made Boss Battles fun again.
Less sometimes is more.
If you did not watch the movie multiple times, I doubt you'll play through this more than once. Without some way to skip thru the cut-scenes .... I just don't see it.
But if you did watch and like the movies ... this is a 100% solid must have.

On PC/ STEAM you will probably encounter the never ending update loop bug.
It's Microsoft, they've only had 40 years to get it right.
Don't even waste your time.

Hard pass.
The game gets worse with every iteration anyway.

The Driving has a little potential, then there's the flying which kind of sucks. It's not so much the Key Mapping is useless without any devices and running Mouse and Keyboard, it's the labeling ... what is this a PC or a Typewriter.
Grows old quick.
Paid a $1 Buck for it and that's about what it's worth.

Early Access Review
If you ever played any of the Rogue Spear games years gone past you must give this game a try.
I've been here from the start.
I support very few Early Access.
But this is one I do ...

Slow moving.
Boring.
Juvenile at times.
If you are a Star Trek fan it's a maybe, at best.
I can't really say that much good about it, nothing really jumps out and makes me want to continue playing. But I can't really say that much bad about it either other than I can't say that much good about it.

Tough to play SOLO, but can be done.
Most situations require switching to different crew stations at light speed.
I need a Crew.
Problem there is ... everybody wants to be the Captain or Tactical.

Early Access Review
Game-play is terrible, seriously seems like created by children. The terrain looks good but everything else sucks. Gun-Play is like something from a decade ago. You will probably be very disappointed. Experience is very limited, can't drive any vehicles you find, The AI in COOP pretty much just stands there and lets you kill them. The game has been out for just one day and there are already Cheaters in the PvP. Not worth $5 bucks US on a good day. Lot's of Lag runs very poorly on my NIVIDIA 3060RTX.

REFUNDED

Just a real good FPS. The Nano Suit and the Bow can be fun.

Game looks great, and can be fun
It detected my G-29 Wheel.
It did not at first, and I did not get the input device option at all under settings.
Forget the 3rd party crap, skip G-hub, the stupid game after a couple of minutes just saw the wheel and it popped up as default.
I wanted to see if it would do it like that again or if it was a connection issue. so I exited NFS and went straight into a couple other games and it worked fine. Unplugged the wheel and plugged it back in and re-started NFS ... and it did the exact same thing again. After a couple of You-Tube videos, and a couple of web sites on NFS G-29 settings I came up with a workable situation. It's a fun diversion from simulations. Some may not like the story-line but I found it interesting and a nice change.
I'm normally a Simulation Driver, but I find this NFS quite interesting, and fun.
