Really well made RoboCop game. Would have been fine if it would just not suck, but it is actually good!

Jank aside, it's clearly made people who give a shït, and the deep cuts and love for the (good elements of) the brand and those who made it is palpable. Peter Weller is back, which is amazing, and the likeness of other important actors is there too, in some cases (albeit not the voices or even decent soundalikes). I personally greatly enjoy how the bad guy is apparently Hans Grueber from Die Hard.

Absolutely nails the '80s technoir aesthetic. Soundtrack and visuals are spot-on. The new piano theme at the main menu is pretty damn godtier. The fact that you can play it like F.E.A.R. (complete with Bullet Time and SPAS-12) is nothing short of legendary.

It has faults, obviously. The Auto-9 doesn't quite sound right, the load times are astronomical, there's general instability... The lack of Toggle Aim is inexplicable, too. A standard staple like that has no reason to be missing. Not just for it to feel like a fuçking PC game (CS 1.6 and UT1 had this sorted decades ago), but it'd also let us leave the proper RoboVision mode on all the time, as we should.

Well worth the stack of Oreos.
