Thursday, October 31st. The city streets are crowded for the holiday. Even with the rain. Hidden in the chaos is the element, waiting to strike like snakes. And I'm there too. Watching. 2 years of nights have turned me into a nocturnal animal. I must choose my targets carefully. It's a big city. I can't be everywhere. But they don't know where I am. We have a signal now, for when I'm needed. When that light hits the sky, it's not just a call- it's a warning. To them. Fear is a tool. They think I'm hiding in the shadows. But I AM the shadows. I wish I could say I'm making a difference, but I don't know. Murder, robberies, assault- 2 years later, they're all up. And now this. This city's eating itself. Maybe it can't be saved, but I have to try. PUSH MYSELF. These nights all roll together in a rush, behind the mask. Sometimes in the morning I have to force myself to remember everything that happened.

Jiraiya could only stand up to both Itachi and Kisame because he merely wasn't present when Itachi initiated his extremely potent knocking, and thus, couldn't fall victim to it. Perhaps that's how he managed to massacre his share of the Uchiha Clan, by knocking on their doors and then breaking in through their windows while they were distracted. Yes...

Itachi truly is a master at knocking on doors.

The door that separated both Itachi and Naruto. Naruto, who was forced to to choose from only 2 options: open the door, or open the door. Naturally, after his ears bore witness to those omnipotent knocks, he could only choose to open the door. As he opened the door, he was visibly shaken. He was so enticed by Itachi's knocks that he mistook him for his best friend, Uchiha Sasuke. After hearing Itachi softly, yet in a slightly assertive tone demand, "It's time for you to come with us, Naruto-kun..." Naruto waa faced with an impossible situation. Not only had hearing Itachi's holy knocks weakened his mind, but after hearing Itachi's voice and seeing his cold gaze, his body had already reached its limit. He had to comply...

I must confess, Itachi is truly a master at knocking on doors. I consider it an art. When I first heard him knocking on Naruto's door before attempting to kidnap him, I was utterly mesmerized. My ears were dripping with ♥♥♥ at the mere sound of those 3 "knock knock knocks". The sound reverberated through my eardrums and made me contemplate my very existence itself. It was a powerful sound.

I can only imagine the immense, indescribable fear that a 13 year old Naruto was experiencing at the time, faced with such massive pressure, originating from Itachi's strong, but elegant knocks. Even Kisame, who was standing behind Itachi, felt the intensity of his knocking. His own teammate was in awe of his godlike knocking. A tranquil rage projecting its sacred force onto that blessed door.
