Excellent game but devs/publisher decided to put this game's store picture and steam library art in black and white. Leave it alone! Or do you really think your customers are stupid and need silly art with no colors to distinguish this is not the newest release?

Sims 1 meets zombies but your zodiac sign doesn't matter.

Game is mechanically great, graphics from a personal preference are not that good (30XX solves this), UI choices are bad, font doesn't really fit and text with no spacing between lines just makes it worse. Also, I don't really appreciate data gathering being activated by default for whatever it is (it doesn't help that the external website metricsforfriends . zachbarth . webfactional . com is detected as a trojan, hopefully a false positive).

The new main menu song "Quantum Spawn" slaps so hard it sure gives me: 5% resources from pops IRL.

I played the original quite a lot, I even attempted to play it in Italian to learn while popping ganados heads with the Chicago Typewriter. Haha, good times.

Here, combat is perfected, story and characters have a more realistic approach while keeping a few action movie-like one-liners, every time I was about to hit a new chapter I was excited to see how they would challenge a veteran... All I can say is, they delivered. Thanks devs from the bottom of El Lago.

The main reasons why I do not recommend this game are:
* Game stutters on newer systems due to bad optimization under DirectX9.
* No updates to fix optimization issues.
* Race locked classes like the ninja that only lolis can play.
* Elins (Loli race) are everywhere to such extend that Chris Hansen should make devs and players take a seat.
* Net code is broken, so I literally had to uninstall NordVPN from my computer in order to run this game.
* Story is meh and some parts are just bad (example: dog like character is into edgy loli, tries to flirt with her disregarding the fact that she is still mourning the loss of her loli friend/crush/lover?).
* Interactions with characters that don't make sense.
* Repetitive (but that is something that I complaint about in every single MMORPG).

Main positive point:
* Battle system.

This is absolutely rad if you know what I mean.

I'll nominate this game for "Best Indie Metroidvania Game", god we need an official award named like that. Even if the game is a bit short, it has tight and precise mechanics (if you die, is your fault not the controls), good prequel that makes me want to play to the other Momodora games when I can (this is the first time I play a Momodora game), plenty of secrets worth obtaining (really, Super Metroid pack of missiles were kind of useless in late game, frosty-i'll-hit-u-through-walls beam or Screw attack was all you'll ever need), challenging bosses (especially if you are going for a no-hit run), good soundtrack and atmosphere.

What else could you ask?

With mods and one of the best crafted games ever, you have the "Game Within A Game" Award nominee. So much replay value, multiplayer madness and nostalgia. I just bought this game to have it in my library but I have plenty of hours in it.

I nominate this game for “Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!” Award, it's really awesome graphically, outstanding mechanics (the best for a stealth game so far with a good mix of action), superb optimization, a few good mods like Infinite Heaven and others that fix some details that the developers didn't notice, including Snakebite Mod Manager that makes things easy for yourself.

I'll give it 7/10 because Kojima left, Konami abandoned Chapter 3 for that piece of **** named MGS Survive and the multiplayer is peer to peer so if the host leaves everyone else does (FOB aside); but overall the game is enjoyable and balanced (with the exception of the Hand of Jehuty that can stun-lock the **** out of you), but there is a lot of counterplay once you master the mechanics.
