why change the images to black and white? they look horrible.

I bought it full price because with the game page greyed out, it will be like AoE II HD wihich will never go on discount anymore..Is multiplayer active ? or all of player already migrated into retold ? I hope Im not disappointed since full price is quite expensive for over 20 years old game, but looks like it will never be on discount anymore then there is no point waiting for discount.....

I have seen that others have this issue. I click to launch the game, i get the pop up for to choose to start the game, and then nothing happens. I have tried running it in compatibility mode, administrator mode and in 640x480 screen. This seemed to work, it let me get to the main menu. But then immediately froze and would not work again until i restarted my computer. And after this i have not been able to get back to even the main menu. Any help or advise would greatly be appreciated....

I played this game many years ago. I will get back into it with this AoM EE, but I can surely recommend the game in general based on what I remember of the gameplay. Speaking of which, it's the gameplay that counts, after the graphics pass a certain level of satisfaction. AoM EE looks fine to me. I looked at AoM Retold and guess what.
