I am really disappointed in what Yu-Gi-Oh! became now. I have been a big fan of the first generation of Yu-Gi-Oh!, but man, things have changed a lot since that time. Few things that I don't like about what Yu-Gi-Oh! became now:
* It is so luck-dependent. Your first hand will probably determine if you will be winning the match or not basically. Back in the days, the game lasts quite long, and is less luck-dependent than now in my opinion.
* It is not a duel anymore. It is more "you vs you", than "you vs someone else". It is less interactive especially when you see someone spending half of their time trying to do different combinations on their own.
* It is not much balanced. I know that there are much more combinations and things to do now, but I guess that you just need to make two or three strong decks from the internet, and get used to them, and that's it.
* I have never encountered the abbreviation OTK in a card game before until I played this game. (OTK stands for One Turn Kill). I won't even comment on this!
Anyway, back in the days, summoning an 8-star monster was the apex of the match. Now, with those new kinds of summoning, it is a normal thing to have three 8-star monsters sitting around next to each other with very strong effects. Sorry not sorry.

Don't focus on the troll comment, the game is really unbalanced and has gone to shit. I totally agree with every single point you said.

"It is so luck-dependent"
you do realize that yugioh is a card game right?
" It is not a duel anymore"
if your deck is bad and or unoptimized then your opponent is pretty much gonna get a free win, if you're using a good deck then you'll still be able to fight back to an extent
"It is not much balanced"
power creep is better than set rotation or whatever, even if you use an old deck like raid raptors you'll still win here and there if you optimize said deck with hand traps
" I have never encountered the abbreviation OTK in a card game before until I played this game"
if you like slow grindfests go play crapstone, yugioh is a fast paced game, if you want, you can always just use control decks like eldlich
