50 Hours FAQ
🎮 Why do you play games for exactly 50 hours?
Short answer: OCD. Long answer: I've always liked organising my activities with specific goals. Whether it's movies, books, or trips, I find having a metric helps keep things structured. When I joined Steam, I wanted to apply the same approach.

🕒 Why 50 hours specifically?
My first game, Brawlhalla, was the starting point. I realised I wasn't into playing a single game indefinitely. Initially, I considered achievements, but they took way longer than I wanted. So, I settled on time played. 50 hours seemed like a good cutoff.

How do you decide when to stop playing a game?
For multiplayer games, I stop at 50 hours. For singleplayer or story-based multiplayer games, I aim for 100% completion and then idle it to 50 hours.

🎯 What about achievement hunting?
If I can 100% a game in less than 50 hours, great. Otherwise if the game supports it, I use Steam offline mode. For example, I needed 110 hours for Elden Ring, 70 hours for Hogwarts Legacy, 70 hours for Dying Light, etc.

❤️ What about games you really love?
I keep a secondary account for games I really enjoy. But the satisfaction of building up my 50-hour collection and trying out different games often feels even better than over-playing a few. And even though I don't become a master at certain games, I love the variety they offer.

💥 What if a game goes over 50 hours?
I've had a few games that went slightly over 50 hours due to small mishaps like overidling, oversleeping, or Steam issues. It's annoying, but I don't have much of a choice.

😅 How do your friends react?
Some friends initially struggled with my gaming habits, but they're getting used to it. It's a balance between playing with them and pursuing my own gaming goals.

50 Hours played
Dying Light is a 1-4 player(s) first-person action survival game set in a post-apocalyptic open world overrun by flesh-hungry zombies. The game is good on almost all aspects. It has a lot of content (base game + DLCs). It is fully playable in cooperative, which makes it fun with friends. The story is interesting, and the graphics are nice. The game definitely deserves its overwhelmingly positive reviews. I highly recommend it for those interested in parkour zombie games. 9/10.

Thank you for the request and nice to meet a fellow completionist. :stella_happy:

You have a different approach to achievement hunting, really unique and cool, I get the "50 hour cap" for endless games. There are some games I never ever play because they have zero achievements and are long. :AGoodCry:
