Game gets pretty dang tough, but the respawns are quick and usually not too far back, so you can keep tackling tricky spots in order to overcome them. I think the game is worth getting. Maybe stay away if you easily rage.

Damn good game. But takes some patience to "get into". I probably took a minimum of 4 or 6 hours before being totally sold on the title. Not for everyone. Buuuuut Kojima... sooooo... allow that to weigh upon your decision to purchase.

It's a fun game with clever puzzles. The jokes are funny, the pixel art is solid. My favorite case is probably the one with the subway. I think I might favor adventure games that have one solid game expanding story as opposed to this chapter/case style, but it honestly wasn't that big of a detractor. I played this title to get ready to jump into the new entry & I'm glad that I did.
If I had any frustration, it would be when you interact with an item, can't pick it up, but later you can. Often enough, once I check an item the first time, I'll tend to write it off. A good instance for this would be the Christmas case.
If you like point & click adventure games, this one is solid.

Fun game. I caught this on sale & had a rather enjoyable 3 hours with the game (I might have been afk for perhaps .5-ish hours.) I dabbled with New Game+ for a bit, but ultimately quit early on into the second play through, as I was struggling with the 40sec limit & couldn't find the 5th crab... In any case, even at full price, if we're being honest, $9 for 2 to 3 hours of entertainment isn't bad. Yeah, the visuals are retro style basic, but I don't think that hindered the experience.
....Please note. People will probably be able to race through this game faster than I did. I kinda struggled in my initial play to find the last hotel resident.

I know I haven't put too much time into this game yet. I've barely completed anything that wasn't available in the demo.
That being said, while I personally feel compelled to play more, see unlockables and deeper levels; I just can't imagine most people particularly enjoying this game. It's extremely basic & rather sub-par. The game is pretty, I think anyone will be quick to relent this fact. ..But, at minimum, I'd say the gameplay is targeting a very young audience. (I mean, what's up with all the dancing characters that disappear when you approach?) This game was intended for children but is managing to lure in gamers under the guise of "a good platformer can be enjoyed by players of all ages". That is not the case. Most of y'all will be bored as hell by this.

I'm not very far in, as stated, but I do plan to play more in the coming days. I just wanted to drop a quick impression.

Nice little puzzle game. A few puzzles are a tad frustrating, but sometimes all you gotta do is give the whole level a spin & dig into a different corner or see if there's some clue you're missing elsewhere.
I was looking for a neat title that would offer a quick distraction. This game did just that,

As far as point & click adventure games go, this one is pretty fun. A few moments forced me to look up online tips, but for the most part the logic is rather sound with these puzzles. Here's a tip that would have made my gameplay a lot smoother: press spacebar to highlight all items that can be interacted with. I wouldn't jump to using that tool first, much of the fun is exploring and enjoying the art. ... But if you can't figure out what to do next, maybe you failed to pick up a tiny piece of gum or something, who knows...
Annnnyways, like I said: fun game. If you have an interest in Leisure Suit Larry, it's fair to say that this entry is perfectly acceptable. Maybe a few too many phone app jokes at the beginning, but the games finds new material after a while.

I've acquired two ending & before the weekend is out, I plan on getting at least two more ending. I loved the game. Could the game have reached a higher potential? Yeah, sure, but the reality is that we got what we got, & it's still pretty fantastic. I'm anxious to see what additions CDPR offers up through the coming year, but I honestly don't have too many complaints with the initial offering. If the decision is between this & Witcher 3, I'd say go with Witcher 3. Maybe after this game gets a few more patches & DLC I'll feel differently, but, being honest, Witcher 3 was perfection in every way. I do applaud CDPR with what they managed to do with this title, & I reckon with some polish others will cut it more slack. At the very least, I'm excited for what CDPR plans to do with this universe going forward.

You can't go wrong with the Yakuza franchise. It's a shame we never received 3 through 6 or any of the spin-off titles, but I'd say playing this won't ruin those experiences. Allow yourself to play this one now. It's fantastic fun & you deserve it,

For a game that borrows so much from Dragon Quest, in my opinion, I'll say it one ups DQ11, with ease.
