Firstly, no I am in no bad medical condition. I just need a helping hand to get scrims scheduled for at least the Highlander team. With my new Full Time job that I've never experienced before in terms of hour intensity it is becoming harder and harder to keep up with managing two UGC teams, two summer classes, and the job. I actually did not predict landing this job when I made the two teams, so don't blame me for shooting myself in the foot.

Just a bit of help would be appreciated. To help you get a foot on the right track, there are locations/sources to find teams:

I'd really appreciate the help as this will remove one of many things I have going through my head on a near daily basis.

Just how hard could it be to schedule something... Why would I need to think it over multiple times after having scheduled it?..."
Good question. People cancel, things change. People can't make it. And I'm not talking about our team members exclusively. Other teams will cancel if half their own team cannot make it despite scheduling with confidence a week earlier.

I don't want to make volunteering sound something more than it really is, but its nothing to take lightly, as 0xy has noted, this team is severely morale based. The better we feel, the better we perform... I'm sure it'd also be a relief to not hear me complain about the countless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ we come across. So things to keep in mind when scheduling with a team:

- It's not .appel
- It's not a team we've previously faced that completely rolled us.
- They can be above us on the Rankings, but the above still apply.
- Check the experience of the players on the UGC group profile. Don't add a leader and blindly accept a scrim. It could be an entire waste of our time.
- If the leader speaks in memes, unadd.
- If the leader goes by the name "American" block.
- If we face a Steel team, it must be the top 10 of the steel rankings.
- If we face a gold team, there must be a specific reason to face the team. Whether it is to prove a point, proactively check our weaknesses with guaranteed feedback from the other team or some silver team that shouldn't belong in gold wants to come back down and have a fair fight.
- The Scrims MUST CONFORM TO THESE TIMES:

7:30PM EST Practice
8:30PM EST Scrim
9:30PM EST Scrim

Sunday:
7:30PM EST Practice
8:30PM EST Scrim
9:30PM EST Scrim
(10:30PM EST if facing ZWMI, and team feels the need to have 3)

Monday:
7:30PM EST Practice
8:30PM EST Pre-Game Scrim
9:30PM EST Match Time (If no match, Scrim)

* As you can see the "practice" time is when I'd love for people to be in mumble by and talking to each other, but I can continue to dream of a perfect situation :) To be reasonable, 8PM is a fair enough time to begin expecting to have most everyone in the mumble by.

For this week thus far, I have scored us 2 scrims for Thursday: 8:30/9:30PM EST and a pre-game scrim for Monday. I will have these listed in the events no later than 3:15PM EST

Word of warning: Serious and Masq have presented me with reasons as to why they should NOT be in charge of scheduling scrims.

We did it gentlemen. We turned what I believed to be our worst map of them all around and pulled one of the strongest defenses this team has seen. The true colors of our proud Ukrainian flag could be seen horribly photoshopped as a transparent gif over a frag vid.

I could not be any more proud with what we accomplished. It's evident that when we REALLY focus as a team, we can deny just about any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ "team carry" that is thrown at us. Honestly, this calls for a celebration. A talk among the men that made it back from such a brutal war with victory written in blood on the white flags of the LOSERS :^)

Do not think this is over ladies! We've still got a little more to go before we hit playoffs! I wan't you to understand that all we need to get into playoffs, is two more victories out of (5?) more matches. We are almost there, but have plenty of work to do my friends.

Seriously though, good job guys. I think that was our best game yet.

Lovely... It's that one map we haven't really played, and its that one ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass 50/50 map that is worse than pl_upward on a bad day. We'll manage. And by manage, I mean we're gonna practice the ♥♥♥♥ out of this map. So much so, I'd like for us to meet on Saturday if possible. On Saturday we will not have any scrims, it will just be a pure team discussion regarding the map. We'll talk about our plans we want to put into action, get the callouts in our heads, and most importantly have all of this done before our Sunday scrims so we can put it to the test.

This coming Thursday will be a dry run, but I feel its important we play it on a dry run to see just exactly what we need to improve on before we got about willy nilly "do this, do that." Can't make something out of nothing right?

Keeping things optimistic, I certainly do hope our match tonight won't be against salty sailors. Hell, the last thing we need is another 9 Salty Deers right?

Heads up ladies, I'm changing the format I handle announcing the scrims every week! It's more work than you might think to simply copy+paste a scrim schedule for each announcement, and then updating it with the new team names and times, in addition to then adding them to the Events tab.

I will now be posting announcements talking about the upcoming week and any important information, or strategies that will be covered in the following meets. I'll give you a rundown of what we will be doing, but for exact scrim times, and the teams we will be facing in scrims will now be found only here.[gtm.you1.cn]

This consolidates the scrim information into one place to prevent any confusion. I've had a case where I posted something in the events tab, but forgot to update the announcement post. Too much work!
