UGC Highlander Team

I'm beginning to feel the stress, need help.

Firstly, no I am in no bad medical condition. I just need a helping hand to get scrims scheduled for at least the Highlander team. With my new Full Time job that I've never experienced before in terms of hour intensity it is becoming harder and harder to keep up with managing two UGC teams, two summer classes, and the job. I actually did not predict landing this job when I made the two teams, so don't blame me for shooting myself in the foot.

Just a bit of help would be appreciated. To help you get a foot on the right track, there are locations/sources to find teams:

- If and when someone tells me they want to volunteer to help me with scheduling these scrims, I'll get together a list of all of the worth while team contacts I have, and will let them each know you will be adding them.

I'd really appreciate the help as this will remove one of many things I have going through my head on a near daily basis.

Just how hard could it be to schedule something... Why would I need to think it over multiple times after having scheduled it?..."
Good question. People cancel, things change. People can't make it. And I'm not talking about our team members exclusively. Other teams will cancel if half their own team cannot make it despite scheduling with confidence a week earlier.

I don't want to make volunteering sound something more than it really is, but its nothing to take lightly, as 0xy has noted, this team is severely morale based. The better we feel, the better we perform... I'm sure it'd also be a relief to not hear me complain about the countless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ we come across. So things to keep in mind when scheduling with a team:

- It's not .appel
- It's not a team we've previously faced that completely rolled us.
- They can be above us on the Rankings, but the above still apply.
- Check the experience of the players on the UGC group profile. Don't add a leader and blindly accept a scrim. It could be an entire waste of our time.
- If the leader speaks in memes, unadd.
- If the leader goes by the name "American" block.
- If we face a Steel team, it must be the top 10 of the steel rankings.
- If we face a gold team, there must be a specific reason to face the team. Whether it is to prove a point, proactively check our weaknesses with guaranteed feedback from the other team or some silver team that shouldn't belong in gold wants to come back down and have a fair fight.
- The Scrims MUST CONFORM TO THESE TIMES:

Thursday:
7:30PM EST Practice
8:30PM EST Scrim
9:30PM EST Scrim

Sunday:
7:30PM EST Practice
8:30PM EST Scrim
9:30PM EST Scrim
(10:30PM EST if facing ZWMI, and team feels the need to have 3)

Monday:
7:30PM EST Practice
8:30PM EST Pre-Game Scrim
9:30PM EST Match Time (If no match, Scrim)

* As you can see the "practice" time is when I'd love for people to be in mumble by and talking to each other, but I can continue to dream of a perfect situation :) To be reasonable, 8PM is a fair enough time to begin expecting to have most everyone in the mumble by.

For this week thus far, I have scored us 2 scrims for Thursday: 8:30/9:30PM EST and a pre-game scrim for Monday. I will have these listed in the events no later than 3:15PM EST


Thanks for taking the time to read through this, I know its a giant ass word wall, but in the end this will help me a lot more than you might think it will.





Word of warning: Serious and Masq have presented me with reasons as to why they should NOT be in charge of scheduling scrims.
One will leave it to 30 minutes before hand, and the other will completely destroy our team morale without meaning to.
What I'm saying is, let's not make me default to one of these two people that have already helped me in the past, despite the poor performances...
