Big Rapids LAN was the outcome of a merger of two LAN groups in Big Rapids, MI. One of these being Clan [J.A], and the other being Clan [I.B].

Clan [J.A] has put on several LANs, most of these being basement LANs, and afterwards decided to move on to bigger LANs. These bigger LANs were hosted at Area 51 Internet Gaming Center located within the same town. The profits from these LANs went to charity. Jimmy and K!ller were the admins.

Clan [I.B], who are friends with Clan [J.A], decided to host a LAN of their own. They also chose Area 51 as their venue. This LAN was titled Clan [I.B] AnnuaLAN. Clan [J.A] helped with setup and supplying equipment. Mr_Kola and j3W84cC4 were the admins.

Shortly after the AnnuaLAN, these two LAN groups merged to form Big Rapids LAN. On July 28th, 2007 Big Rapids LAN had their first LAN located at St Peters School's Gym. It was an amazing success and couldn't wait for the future.

Waldoman LAN, a LAN organization located in Lansing, contacted Big Rapids LAN to see if we would want to do a co-hosted LAN with them. Since having prior experience at their LANs, we gratefully accepted. This LAN is scheduled for January 5th, 2008.
