What is, "Victis Networks Competitive"?

Victis Networks, a Garry's Mod Gaming community, has also decided to branch out and spend some time on competitive games, like CS:GO, and TF2. While we do not have a server on any of our Competitive games, we are a competitive team, looking to earn a reputation in the gaming community.


There's really only one way - Scroll down until you see "Members" on this page. Add one of the Administators, which are the very first people you see on the list. They'll talk to you, and you'll receive an invite to the group.


I believe you should join since I believe that we have a nice community of relaxed players who also play with us, and are willing to help you learn about the basics. You'll also be able to use our Group Abbreviation in CS:GO, which is nice. (If you're already in tthe group, navigate in-game to Settings>Game Settings>Clan Tag, and select "| VN Comp |"


Basically, we run a very small Chain of Command. There's three ranks:

[+] Team Leaders

Team Leaders are those who own the Steam group. They are in-charge of mass trainings, announcements, ect. They're the Managers, in short. Team Leaders are marked as, "Administrator" in the group!

[+] Squad Leaders

Squad Leaders are those who are appointed by either the Squad Members, or the Team Leaders. Usually, you'll be hand-picked. Squad Leaders are tasked with training people to get better at something, and are tasked with "queing up" with other members of the team. Squad Leaders are marked as "Moderator" in the Steam Group!

[+] Squad Members

Squad Members are the majority. They are the learners/players, and take advice from their Squad Leaders.

The reason why we use the rank system, is more of a mental thing. Most people will see it as, "Well, they're a Squad Leader, so they're doing something right. Maybe I should watch them."
