If you are unsure about Stellaris it offers many unique features:

Enormous procedurally generated galaxies, containing thousands of planets.

My favorite and most noted feature is that Stellaris is not a "turn based" 4x title meaning everything happens in real time making you react to situations. Yes, there is a pause button for those who need it.
