A new world is upon us, and much change would very well happen. At the moment the United States of America stands as the worlds greatest and most powerful country, however many many countrys are rising in this new age. In the far east, the chinese have grown to be a world leader in manufacturing and are even starting to show intrest in the pacific by disputing islands with the united states and maritime borders. In the land of the Russians, despite the United States winning the cold war and ending the Soviet Union the threat is still a very real thing and make no mistake, Russia is riseing again. In Europe even there is riseing levels of ISIS and terrorism that needs to be delt with. The middle east is very very unstable with it more or less being the battle that never ends. We shall see what this new age will bring...

Admin Announcement: New Military and Economic System!

Happy to announce that the Admin team has officially implemented a new and improved economic and military system for the RP!

Essentially, the economic system is based off of IRL GDP's. However, since GDPs are literally in the billions, spending caps have been introduced. For example, the spending cap for the government budget is 40% of you GDP, and for some nations, the defense budget cap is 2.5%. You can also spend your government budget money on stuff like infrastructure and social programs. Investment into stuff other than the military is expected, and, if you don't invest back into your economy, you'll see your GDP growth rate slow or reverse.

The military system is in conjunction with the economic one: that is, the prices reflect GDPs. Not only have prices changed, but more specific units, such as 4th GEN MBTs and SPGs have been added. This gives you more creativity when creating a military. Also, you happen to start out with your country's IRL military FOR FREE . The military units are meant to add onto that army during wartime, or to update the equipment of the army. Please use nation-specific units when creating your military: Instead of saying "3rd GEN MBT", instead say (if I'm the UK) "Challenger 2 MBT". Do note that in order to reflect real life budgets and the fact that you get your initial military for free, half of the defense budget is for maintenance only, and cannot be used. There is also a set of rules that guide you on what you can and cannot do.

In order for everyone to implement this into their nation pages, we are PAUSING THE RP FROM 8/02/17 11:00 PM EST to 8/03/17 3:00 PM EST. . No changes to wars will be made post update, but you are expected to update your units involved in the wars.

For the horrific attrocities the Mongolians have commited on the Ukraineans through the 13th to the 15th centuries, it is only fair that Mongolia pay us reparations.
