Happy to announce that the Admin team has officially implemented a new and improved economic and military system for the RP!

Essentially, the economic system is based off of IRL GDP's. However, since GDPs are literally in the billions, spending caps have been introduced. For example, the spending cap for the government budget is 40% of you GDP, and for some nations, the defense budget cap is 2.5%. You can also spend your government budget money on stuff like infrastructure and social programs. Investment into stuff other than the military is expected, and, if you don't invest back into your economy, you'll see your GDP growth rate slow or reverse.

The military system is in conjunction with the economic one: that is, the prices reflect GDPs. Not only have prices changed, but more specific units, such as 4th GEN MBTs and SPGs have been added. This gives you more creativity when creating a military. Also, you happen to start out with your country's IRL military FOR FREE . The military units are meant to add onto that army during wartime, or to update the equipment of the army. Please use nation-specific units when creating your military: Instead of saying "3rd GEN MBT", instead say (if I'm the UK) "Challenger 2 MBT". Do note that in order to reflect real life budgets and the fact that you get your initial military for free, half of the defense budget is for maintenance only, and cannot be used. There is also a set of rules that guide you on what you can and cannot do.

In order for everyone to implement this into their nation pages, we are PAUSING THE RP FROM 8/02/17 11:00 PM EST to 8/03/17 3:00 PM EST. . No changes to wars will be made post update, but you are expected to update your units involved in the wars.

The Indian Goverment has good news to report.The homes that were lighty hit by a shockwave are now been repaired.The Canadians,Russians,etc are helping out were possible and the Indian Goverment is very thanksfull for every nation that helps them in any way.

The Economy is sacking...due to companies been destroyed and allot of people been dead the Economy is going down.The Protests are leading to people not working and its going worse.The Protesters demand an explaination of what is going on and if the Goverment is telling the truth.The Goverment believes they are just Anarchists finding a reason to destroy the nation.Some believe it is a rebellion of Pakistan that has now the upper hand due to the recent attacks.Experts estimate that the Indian economy can be running normally in about 5 years but thats only if everything is going well.The Nuclear Radation is spreading and allot of people had to evacuate their homes.This also increases the amount of workless and homeless.

Serbia does not have an oceanic border, meaning Canada and the United States has been shelling and flying over Montenegro and Croatia, causing diplomatic issues. So far, one commercial flight between Croatia and the UK has been hit and has gone down, killing two hundred and thirty seven people in total, including four Americans and three Canadians. Croatia has demanded for an apology and has so far started to gain the backing of Montenegro, Albania and Bulgaria.

If the United States and Canada do not find another way to solve this issue, soon enough more people will feel sympathy to the Serbians.
