Essentially for me the game has been a perfect storm of Ubisoft bugs, Win 24H2 issues and recent Nvidia drivers possibly being less stable than they ought to be. That being said I've only had crashes in this game (aside from a freeze in gow2 after an hour, fixed by an Nvidia patch for the issue) so I think it probably can be laid at Ubisoft's door.
The game itself is worth a try, 2 hours will give you a rough feel for it so my advice is try it if you want to but keep an eye on the refund window closing if its unstable.
My specs to give you a rough idea:
5900x
32Gb ram
3080 10Gb
980 pro ssd
targeting 1440p dlss quality (various graphics settings tried, in particular rtxdi has a huge impact on perf sometimes)
But yeah, that was a gpu driver issue, as I'm using win 10 22h2.

Wasn't a generic question: «hey, how does it work for you?»
The question was on 24H2, how does it work with the temp patch 1.4.1 release by Ubisoft... worse than before 24H2 anyway (i.e.: with 23H2 or before was running better)?
While also I mentioned that was a gpu driver issue and mentioned what windows I'm instead using, aka with a broken gpu driver I can get crashes with certain games.
As the release date for win11 24h2 was oct 1st 2024, and in a similar time came out the nvidia gpu drivers 565 that borked games, causing it to crash at a certain time frame or randomly, regardless of what windows was in use.
Aka devs maybe will get bad feedback from people, blaming microsoft and the game, while the gpu drivers could also be an issue, not to mention everything else that can cause a similar issue.
It's not a driver issue.
It has been confirmed on more then one occasion that it is a Windows 11 24H2 issue. Because it also happens on AMD GPUs. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft have both confirmed this.
