I actually narrowed the Kensei crash down to the auto-crit passive they have. Once I respec'd out of it I didn't crash anymore.

Yeah, that's what I thought too, was trying to count hits and see when it procs, but couldn't really tell, so I switched to a greatsword and it crashed. So I guess the skill has the same requirement as most Kensei skills, greatsword/pole-arm, it is just not indicated there.
The Kensei's Auto-Crit Passive name is: "Fine Control".

Boarcas from Discord reports that the Kensei Skill of "Fine Control" crashes the game even when Pole-arms are used.

Enter the Torchmodders site and report issues at the "Torch Modders Discord" from there.

"Viz" isn't currently available to update the mod hence any issues found and reported here on Steam will be written on a list here for other players to be aware of.

Sometimes this version will be outdated and "Viz" may have fixed certain bugs in a newer version.

I noticed that if you use FEP + and Variant Classes at the same time there is an icon conflict between the archer (Variant) and the Mongol archer (FEP+)

I have returned from the "Torch Modders Forums" and can confirm that "Viz" is reading everything here and has specifically responded on this bug:

About the Archer class icon conflict, I had fixed the issue in Variant. So either wait until doudley returns to modding and updates the Steam version of Variant, or just use the latest Variant from RGF.

Not a big deal but Ronin chargebar has a strange behavior.
When the effect is over, the charge bar is blocked at 95% during 2-3 seconds before emptying.

Your findings on the Ronin bar have "Viz" double checking so good work!

I think there is a mistake in Flip Kick of Grand Master.
Rank 3 grants 20% chance of breaking shields, but considering the skill progression it should be 40%.

Another thing I've noticed : at the character creation, you can't see the cannon of Monster Hunter, it's invisible.
When you start the game the cannon is in your bag, unequipped.

weird. I can try reinstalling. I don't ahve a 'clean' install, maybe I'll give that a try, I only removed any previous mods I had from my playthrough a year ago, I'll give it a try

Did you delete the mod save folder with the launcher on screen before loading FEP+? Copy Paste Move clones of any character saves to protect progress before attempting this.

Verify cache in Steam.

You may have taken these steps already yet I had to be sure.

So not sure if anyone else has had this problem but when I started a NG+ my Nodachi Hachisei, previously required lvl 55 or 124 str, changed to requires lvl 83 or 160 str. Which was kind of upsetting since I was forced to put on the first 2h I could find or resort to punching everything.
