Industrial Engineers Modpack

Description
Important!
This modpack requires the Community Edition[www.medievalengineers.com] of ME. Please make sure to switch to it to avoid compatibility problems.
Are you bored with everything being medieval? Do you like the realistic in game physics, but you want to use it for more than just throwing stones or pushing carts? Do you want a sandbox, where you can manage resources, build your industry, design vehicles from basic parts and take them to battle, all in a single game?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you are in the right place - welcome to
Industrial Engineers Modpack

This modpack is a collection of the majority of industrial and technical mods out there, being maintained and updated frequently, converting your medieval game into an Industrial Age and modern sandbox. After subscribing to this mod only, you are getting:
  • Steam and internal combustion engines
  • Vehicle parts for fully functional land vehicles, trains, planes and ships
  • Painting mechanics allowing to paint almost every block to any color
  • A set of World War era weapons, both handheld and vehicle-mounted
  • Realistic damage model, allowing for good battle simulation with vehicle design playing a very important role
  • New storage, crafting and mining blocks as well as conveyors and fluid mechanics, allowing for advanced automation and industrialisation (crude oil refining included!)
  • AI soldiers, both for defending positions and manning turrets
  • Countless additional small and large block shapes for all sorts of decorating
  • and many many others...
How to play
It is recommended to start a new world with this modpack, it contains the water mod, which doesn't work well with vanilla worlds. To see how to add it to an existing world, see Usage on pre-existing worlds.
The modpack comes with a default world called Big Island Water World. To start a new game, use the Custom option and choose a planet of the same name, then add only the modpack in the mod settings. To play you only need to add this single mod to your world, nothing else. It is also recommended to use one of the water worlds, as the water mod is contained in this modpack.

Choosing other worlds
If you are not happy with the Default world the modpack offers, you can choose other worlds to play on. To do that, use the Custom world creation option, choose another map and add the respective world mod after the modpack, to overwrite the one included in it.
Furthermore, since the additional ores from More Minerals will not spawn on worlds that don't include them, when using the Water in Medieval Engineers, add this mod after the world mod. So modpack -> world mod -> ore fix.

Adding the modpack to existing worlds
If you are using one of the water world already, simply add the modpack before the world mod.

When using a vanilla world, add this mod after the modpack. The default water level will be too high for the vanilla world, so you will need to adjust it in game. That can be done by chat commands. Type in /help tide into the chat window (Enter) to get info about the available commands. An example fix will look like this:
/tide min -1000 /tide water -1000
Please note that the More Minerals ores won't spawn on such worlds. They should still be obtainable through the Trading Post mod (not included in the modpack - needs to be separately added).

If you have any questions, or want to have a pleasant multiplayer experience using this modpack, please feel welcome to join the active PlanetsNoLag server community on their discord server.[discord.gg] Currently the server is preparing for a new WW2 themed season with a nice place for both peaceful and warring players.
Furthermore, if you are interested in the engineering and mechanical aspect of the game and like to work on any kind of vehicle, please be welcome to join the Medieval Industrialists[discord.gg] server.

In the end I wanted to thank all the people involved in creating and upkeeping this great adventure so far, especially modders whose individual mods are linked in the dependencies of this modpack. It's not necessary for function, but be welcome to also subscribe to those, to show your support for the modders' hard work.

Hello engineers. Many people dont know that. There is comunity edition for medieval engineers. That is information i missed all the time! All three years! If you can, play that version, its in settings in medieval emgineers steam library. Without this verion, many mods will not work properly or will not work at all! + many bugs and glitches were fixed in comunity edition. ;)

So, I just need to thank comunity and modders for keeping this game alive. :)

@Machinegunknife
I would suggest reading the modpack description. It explains why that is the case, as well as details how to choose any other world of your choosing.

@spartan119990, you should check water core mod: https://gtm.you1.cn/workshop/filedetails/?id=2247222283 that mod is dependency for Water Propellers mod. You can find info there how to add water on any planet and adjust water level. Sorry, I can't be more exact, it was a while since I was messed with those settings last time.
Hope that it will help you.

Are there mods that change that part of the game? I feel like I need that back, I miss it. It would be a chance to add structures that are water world themed. When I first started using these mods, I used the old generation by mistake and found that the ruins sometimes where so far under water that I needed a diving tank to reach them.

would be nice to have the old ruined castle generation in the new water worlds, i liked finding those,
