Nope! I tried that several times with no success, so I gave up on that method. Here's what I did:

@Nobody No-One I'm guessing you squeezed through the flippanel while it was turning. I'm also guessing that it took you a lot of tries and you knew that what you were doing was unintended :P

The Hammer work is quite good, but I think I solved the last part unintended – I never used the sphere, or even needed to turn off the laser field. Thumbs up.

Glad you liked it! Probably not a good idea to play this map outside on a sunny day, I agree :P Thanks for playing!

Well that's an hour of my life I am NEVER getting back....

I'm just kidding of course, I loved it, good puzzle (puzzles?) with some pretty decent hammer work. For a first this is very good. My main complaint is the darkness, waaayy to dark for way too much of the time.

Overall: 8/10

@SunnyOst Helpers could be good in hammer part, i was referencing to that :)
SunnyOst  [autor] 26 out. 2017 às 23:31
So you're saying i should cover the whole map in info_placement_helpers? :D If a spot should have a helper, it has one already.
I'll try 3d skybox, thanks
kwinten 25 out. 2017 às 4:04
"disco glicth" -> make a 3D skybox to avoid this
"too little space, or the surface is at an angle, which automatically aligns the portal vertically" Use info_placement_helper
"I updated the map 11 times [..]" Congrats ! I have so many project forward.. I will update all but later, when i will be out of projects.. very later so ;)
SunnyOst  [autor] 24 out. 2017 às 14:03
That was funny to read, thank you very much! <3
The disco glicth is nothing I can do about, unfortunately. I tried several different things and fixed it for myself, but for others it is still there, so I can't even try fixing it..
Some painted surfaces being unportalable - there's either too little space, or the surface is at an angle, which automatically aligns the portal vertically, that's how Portal 2 works. So, for example, the floor near the flippanel would be portalable if it was horizontal, but it is at an angle, so the portals only have too little space because of the lights on the floor.
If you notice, I updated the map 11 times, and continued updating it over a month after initial release(actually even more than it says here, since I had to re-upload it). So it is much better, than it was before. I guess, you are one of those "2-3 people" :P
Thanks for the commment, I apreciate it! :p2blue:

PART2
More seriously, you use regular elements of hammer in a map, and you've bugs in it and some tricky things to do
Now, if you think about putting a new concept in relation with portals, it doesn't seem more tricky ?
You've done an effort, something a bit different, and i think that deserves a thumb up for this, because the notation should take in account the maker investment
But now viewing your commentary on my map what should i do ?
I'm not resentful, so i will put a thumb up; hope to see more in the future

PART1
Description: "first hammer map" + apologizes about your puzzle making.. well.. assume your own work *cough*
Missing sound a the door at the beginning
Not a fan of the idea of having a grid which separate you from the puzzle, but why not
The concept of go -> then <- is pretty cool with weathley ! Good point with this
There is a glitch at my up right corner of my screen before entering in the hammer area
The hammer part looks like a "guess what angle to use", and some of the white painted surface are not fully portallable, looks like.. random ?
i didn't finished it, so I watched hammer part of LB walkthrough and discovered.. he found more bugs

@Private Thanks! The thing with languages is that there are several lines which I cut mid sentence to get only the right words. In some languages timing may be slightly off, unfortunately. But good to hear that you had no troubles :)
Private 17 jul. 2017 às 12:44
as info:
it works in other languages too
Private 17 jul. 2017 às 12:34

SunnyOst  [autor] 14 jul. 2017 às 6:27
@Dr.Cafard Thanks! What do you mean by "they are not rate board"? If you mean that rating didn't come up in the elevator, then you haven't finished the map yet :P
Aleskei 14 jul. 2017 às 5:47
Really nice test continu your good job but they are not rate board ?
