DRO is hands down my all time favorite way to play Arma.

Recently my old version of ACE quite working properly, so I just downloaded the latest. However ACE is creating some sort of bug where I can't load saved games. I can save in mission (single player) just fine. However if I try to reload a save point (after I get killed for instance), it ends up taking away all my saves, completing the mission as a failure, and booting me to the main screen. Seems to be happening on all maps that I tried (Ihantala Winter, Chernarus Winter, Altis).

C'mon, I can't be the only one experiencing this can I?

None of the faction's troops seem to be spawning in correctly, whether it be RHS, CUP or 2035 Faction mods etc. The scenario will spawn in Vanilla CSAT troops instead of the chosen opposing faction.

Additionally, this issue happens when you choose air force faction as additional. If you, however, choose air force as MAIN enemy and regular infantry faction as additional game do not spawn CSATs (but spawn a lot of pilots)

All DRO scenarios can't work properly with RHS air force subfactions. They don't have regular infantry, which causes DRO to spawn CSAT generic riflemans as placeholders if such faction selected as additional.

I've been having an issue where I/anyone in my game respawn and occasionally change from BLUFOR to CIV. I know it's a long shot that anyone responds to me but any help would be appreciated.

for some reason there are no AO generated, the objectives are there and everything but when i hve to extract, the mission just end as completed, there was supposed to be an area of operation you have to exfill from but it's gone from all maps it happened on vanilla as well, so it wasn't mod conflicts

are vehicles supposed to be locked?

is there a way to prevent custome loadouts. so people have to choose from whats available. Also is there a way to fix everyone being labeled as "Rifleman" regardless of what loudout is selected

I am still praying for the day we get another update. I have easily spent 500+ hours on this scenario alone

running t o NULL ??
i can play Takistan on Internet
i can play other maps on Internet and lokal
but why i can not play
Lythium or a
lot of other szenarios / maps

i dont undertsand it .... if the map not is on my computer it has to be download

Helicopter insertion is glitched. A few human players will always respawn far away from it, on the opposite side of the map lol.
It makes teleporting addons mandatory.

I feel a way to change the mission end options should be added, like a way to always force RTB, me and my buddies play it and I purposefully keep the base usually on the other side of the map if its small enough just to have an AI fly us back or to have a debrief talk at the end of the mission

Hi i jave an issue currently
I got a take and hold mission but it appears that nothing happens after doing everything. There are no intel to collect and all enimies are taken down and nothing. Ive been standing and roaming around the AO for hours and still nothing. Is there anybody else with this issue?

Anybody using ACE and having issues with the revive and ace medical conflicting. Just tested out disabling the revive script in the mission parameters, ACE medical works like it should.

Hey, anybody having an issue being unable to play with friends? We use ACE and RHS and basically once I load in the map the zone is generated and created and I am in the arsenal screen my friend just has the map screen and the mission does not continue for him, he is unable to see the arsenal screen and we are unable to play. Anybody ever had any issue like this?

because it's not meant to be in this Recon Ops mission (too hard for a small recon ops team?). If you want more armor to fight Dynamic Combat Ops might be your thing

I just started playing DRO online with my daughter. I'm hosting and we noticed she is unable to collect intel. She presses space and "collects" it, but then nothing happens - no messages, no actual intel, nothing. She can do everything else ("talk" with people, "grab" mission items, etc), just can't collect intel. Suggestions?

In many of the missions for some of the maps it only gives option of civilian and not BLUFOR. How do I fix it? It causes mission to bug and not start after readying up after choosing loadout

any way to configure Arsenal so that the host can control what's available to players?

Game Options -> Addons -> Set your own ACE options -> Override mission -> Win

No ace setting in generator menu?

These are some of the coolest missions I've played in Arma yet. Wish you added compatibility to the star wars opposition maps as well! Keep up the good work.

Actions from mods like bgmenu, or Lago crysis nano suit, don't show up in scroll bar after inserting

I'm also having this same issue. The host is fine but connected players don't seem to be able to lock on to anything with the launchers and searching intel doesn't appear to do anything. I have dynamic simulation off but the same problem exists with it on as well.

Out of curiosity, do you have dynamic simulation on?

To expand upon the current problem. A few peeps and i join a session hosted on one of our machines. The host gets a normal experience. AA/AT locks on. The support options work correctly and they can spot enemies. Everyone else cannot do those things. tried switching the host around and the problem persists. tried other missions and they work fine. Cannot figure it out. would there be something buried in a config somewhere causing this issue?

Clients can search intel it just doesn't give the dialogue, AFAIK. Also, never had AT/AA problems over here.

has anyone else encountered the bug in which the host is the only player able to lock on with AT/AA launchers? also they are the only ones who can successfully search for intel.

beno - it's a bug, dev is aware of it just hasn't quite pushed the fix yet.

Hi, i started to play this couple of days ago and maybe it supoused to be like this or it is a bug, but i cant finish any mission. I always get "Take and hold" task, i kill all enemies, friendly units will came to help and thats it. I have been waiting in the middle of the AO for long time, tried to find more enemies around, but there is nobody to kill. I am not using any mods, any suggestion what to do?

Factions will work if the faction modder has set them up correctly.

Im guessing some factions supports wont work, BAF doesnt seem to.

yeah supports have been bugged since december updates could we get a heads up if this is known by the dev?
