You are not required to update your mod. Or do anything at all. (i know you know it) (i say it without bad intentions)
Only thing that i want to say that it would be a good (and handy) to mark deprecated mod/software as such.
Even with this mod loaded alone, it causes instant crash.
also the problem with the "moving light" source is hard coded by keen so no mod developer can change it ever untill keen ads a new system for the light cones thats why alle the light mods have the same problem.
Increasing the radius of the light pushes the light source out in front of the spotlight block.
My workaround is to mount several spotlights where I would normally mount one, and set them to a progression of radius values.
EX:
Spotlight 1: 20m
Spotlight 2: 40m
Spotlight 3: 60m
etc.
Small ships work well with 20m offset, large ships work better with 50m offset. Any closer and you start washing out the colors and textures of everything, any further and you get gaps.
It costs more to build, but it makes it work like it should, and the light clusters look nice on industrial ships.
RE DX11: These have worked in DX11 on my install ever since I subscribed to them, which was sometime in December.
I'd be completely baffled if they didn't work in DX11, because they just re-use KEEN SWH models and textures.
What is your point?
Any corrupted worlds are on your end. I suggest you read the error log. More than likely the cause is something entirely different. We run this mod on my server, too, and it causes no issues. It actually can't, by itself, either. Suggesting you delete your local mods and get a fresh download.

Please. Yes, it is DX11 compatible.
But when I load my world, I only have the original Spot, (Radius 50m, Intensity 5).
F****** WIN!!
