Im literally playing on a Chromebook and some launch options and this made it run better than I could wish for
CrackaJack 10 Eyl @ 12:09
this is so much better then i expected
Stratateles 9 Eyl @ 5:14
started using this mod and goddamn, i didn't even know rimworld could even run this smoothly with 200+ mods

10/10 highly recommend
Pos 5 6 Eyl @ 15:57
Love it! It works fantastic for my saves!
Frank Glass 4 Eyl @ 4:11
wtf dude i have 300+ mods and this mod that i am forced to use, obviously, breaks all of it! this is the fault of the mod uploader!
BackfiredPlans 3 Eyl @ 13:21
@Frank Glass
lol, lmao even, you're so funny!! clap clap for the comedic joker!!

having a shit ton of mods enabled at once is going to slow the game down, I never said it wouldn't, I said that this mod seemingly only made my performance worse in both TPS and FPS (which is funny for an 'FPS stabilizer, even with only 30 mods loaded it still ran slower than your 4 neurons communicating with each other)

maybe work on that reading comprehension though, all of this probably went straight over your head too, so you might need it for when someone else gives you more of that attention you so desperately need.
//SlipperyPete:. 3 Eyl @ 9:07
אַבְרָהָם - I think I have a bit less than that but having hundreds of mods installed for this game that has hundreds of active and compatible mods available, isn't a "tism", it's pretty normal.
אַבְרָהָם 3 Eyl @ 2:45
300+ mod modlisters are on a whole 'nother level of 'tism
Frank Glass 3 Eyl @ 2:23
wtf this single threaded unity game runs like shit when i have 500 mods enabled!!! refunded!!!
BackfiredPlans 2 Eyl @ 23:08
@Frank Glass @Kokorocodon my game literally runs better both in FPS and TPS with the mod off, even with 500 others on, and I have a shitty rig. lol. the difference in FPS is marginal at best (for me) but with this it somehow happens to be worse for my game to handle.
Started a whole new world with just this mod and about 30 other mods just to test it, and it still cut TPS by more than half to be noticeable even in the early game.

I'm not here to preach 'mod useless!! remove from workshop!!!', but I could probably load 700 and still run the game even better without this. The main and really only issue I have is there's no modifiability whatsoever with the limit to adjust it without either removing the mod or suffering 1-speed or slower for eternity with it loaded.
Kokorocodon 2 Eyl @ 19:07
And my rig ain't even that good.
Kokorocodon 2 Eyl @ 19:06
If only people knew the MASSIVE amounts of mods out there with horriblly optimized code.

It's always good to open the dubs analyzer tool and figure out your perfomance hogs and get rid of them. Having cat girls in your game or a skill tree of psychic powers while losing half your TPS for it is NOT worth it.

I have nearly 400 mods, and take good care to never trully reach 400 fully, but they still allow me to play at great TPS.
Frank Glass 2 Eyl @ 4:11
wow wtf i have 200 mods and this mod did nothing!?!?!?! how could that be true?! wtf with 500 mods my game still isnt stable!!!
BackfiredPlans 1 Eyl @ 22:53
Nearly 500 mods (stable for my system, somehow), the only ones that specifically target performance are Rocketman, Performance Optimizer, and Mothballed GC.
40 colonists, no animals, 2 years in, 30 TPS lock with 22-23 FPS, changing speed has zero effect on either TPS or FPS, and it basically locks the game to 1-speed.

Now, I did load the mod in the middle of a save and it actually went pretty swell with no errors being caused, maybe except for the virtual 1-speed lock, but I'll give it a try I guess.

On the other hand, I think I actually get better peformance both in TPS and FPS with the mod off.
BackfiredPlans 1 Eyl @ 22:48
"Almost unchanged TPS" is a little misleading. If you have any more than 100 mods and more than 10 colonists, say goodbye to your TPS.

The mod's good in concept but there's one huge issue with it right now, and that's no customizability whatsoever. You either get your FPS or your TPS, not both apparently.

There definitely needs to be some sort of mod option to enable/disable or change how much the TPS/FPS compromise is. I'd like to use it, visually its pretty good to not have a slideshow, but I want a sort of compromise between decent FPS and decent TPS that I can modify on the go, not full-stop one or the other, without having to load and reload rimworld for 40 minutes to an hour and a half to load/unload the mod. But having basically-locked 30 TPS with 20 FPS doesn't seem worth the tradeoff to me.

Спасибо, стало гораздо лучше
Danny 1 Eyl @ 14:03
THIS MOD IS ACTUALLY CRAZY GOOD.
KPLoopy 1 Eyl @ 13:33
Ive gone full "i can't even!" mode on this mod. insane.... btw almost 700 mods running the other optimization mods with this and i can get constant tick rate of over 300 stable now.. GG TAKE MY POINTS
잿물망 1 Eyl @ 6:15
The performance of this mod is insane [meaning good]
I'm sorry for doubting the performance of this mod, this is a absolutely amazing mod to improve my game experience
I think I know why, because I did not install this mod before the same run dissatisfaction, just the difference in perception, too tragic
I don't know why when I applied this mod, fps did increase a lot, but tps dropped a lot at triple speed, from the original 150 + to only 100 + or even lower
[SV] 31 Ağu @ 21:03
my pc can run the game on 3 speed at 60fps and max tps (that is 360,) but at night when everyone is asleep, my tps can reach 720 at the cost of the game running at 20fps, even if this lower my tps to 600, I would take the tps hit that will only happen at night over the game stuttering like crazy a third of the time
Momon 31 Ağu @ 11:18
From the perspective of someone who has a well built pc. Meaning an up to date ddr5x16ram motherboard. Nvidia 7000series gc and a 4kres 180hz monitor. More fps changes everything, so you're very appreciated! I aim for visuals so I could care less about tps. Especially when my tps is somewhere in the 300s at 3x speed I could seriously care less. With the 4x speed mods that enable up to 900tps my tps reaches up to the 700-800s at best with 30 or more pawns and a mega base. I just want the author to know that I genuinely want mods like this one.
WarCookie 31 Ağu @ 10:36
Great mod! Don't listen to the people complaining
Гений 31 Ağu @ 10:10
My brazillian mate, Rimworld is not hardware dependent game. It uses only one core and 10% of GPU
Kokorocodon 31 Ağu @ 9:35
I wonder what makes some people to overlook the word STABILITY. This is not a booster, if you want more FPS buy a better pc.
Yabby_Shabby 31 Ağu @ 8:48
Anyone who complains about this mod is either illiterate and doesn't know the mod's purpose or can't handle the thought of making your game look more visually appealing when it runs higher than 1x speed.
perelman.matvey  [yaratıcı] 31 Ağu @ 8:08
Yes, when you play first speed, you do not have FPS problem usually.
(≡◉‿‿◉≡) 31 Ağu @ 7:19
I don't get it... like there is no point of making the game slower for a few FPS fix to make what "visually more appealing"?

I played with 300 mods, no lag spikes, and a whole game rehashed into medieval system/textures/gameplay, and on a gaming laptop that is 8-10 years older. You can even check my page there's a video on it.

Just edit your settings properly, follow some guide, do not add unnecessary mods that you hardly notice or cause a problem. I lasted 12 years on my game, 60-70 pawns (1 year on actual) without a TPS/FPS problem.
TongBoker 31 Ağu @ 6:19
meh
Searph 31 Ağu @ 2:30
@Freakonomicon i get that this mod just makes fps smoother but i genuinely don't understand the appeal of making the game run slower (tps) just to make the visual component a bit smoother (fps).

It just seems like a really weird mod to exist and to my mind at least without purpose. Also i can easily get people being confused by this mod sense a lot of people don't know that in this game and others like it the tps is the thing we care about for speed not fps.
Freakonomicon 31 Ağu @ 1:49
@The Dude, it says nowhere that it makes the game faster, just that it stabilizes the fps, which it obviously does. FPS have nothing to do with how fast a game actually runs.
The Dude 30 Ağu @ 23:50
all ive noticed is that it forces your game to slow down if theres a lot going on which really just makes the mod itself pointless
然提携夜灯 30 Ağu @ 22:43
Not recommend in heavily modded environment, with 416 mods my average tps dropped from 550 to 400. FPS not very important when I really wan to speed up the game, if I want to see everything clearly I can turn to 1x speed.
Amadeus 30 Ağu @ 21:53
@LynxBites I mean it literally does as advertised and explained. You being incapable of reading / understanding it doesn't make it less true.
Antheatre 30 Ağu @ 21:17
PSA, especially in simulation games

FPS = how visually pleasing a game is
TPS = how fast your game actually run
LynxBites 30 Ağu @ 21:08
Bro just slowed down the game and called it a FPS Stabiliser lmao
MajorityOfTheInternet 30 Ağu @ 20:06
If TPS falls but FPS increases, doesn't that just mean your game runs slower with everything being slowed down but your pawns move smoothly without lag?
SILVERIII 30 Ağu @ 18:56
This mod make my game smooth but time pass really slow.
Lobanych 30 Ağu @ 18:54
I think it is a piece of tps-eater shit. This mod gives you fps at the cost of tps, so do it on your risk
D3K43 30 Ağu @ 16:38
Neither RocketMan or Performance Optimizer have given me such tangible or immediate results before. I'm running all three of these mods on a single save, I don't know if that's not what I'm supposed to do, but I get pretty stable rates in a relatively large colony.
