10/10 highly recommend
lol, lmao even, you're so funny!! clap clap for the comedic joker!!
having a shit ton of mods enabled at once is going to slow the game down, I never said it wouldn't, I said that this mod seemingly only made my performance worse in both TPS and FPS (which is funny for an 'FPS stabilizer, even with only 30 mods loaded it still ran slower than your 4 neurons communicating with each other)
maybe work on that reading comprehension though, all of this probably went straight over your head too, so you might need it for when someone else gives you more of that attention you so desperately need.
Started a whole new world with just this mod and about 30 other mods just to test it, and it still cut TPS by more than half to be noticeable even in the early game.
I'm not here to preach 'mod useless!! remove from workshop!!!', but I could probably load 700 and still run the game even better without this. The main and really only issue I have is there's no modifiability whatsoever with the limit to adjust it without either removing the mod or suffering 1-speed or slower for eternity with it loaded.
It's always good to open the dubs analyzer tool and figure out your perfomance hogs and get rid of them. Having cat girls in your game or a skill tree of psychic powers while losing half your TPS for it is NOT worth it.
I have nearly 400 mods, and take good care to never trully reach 400 fully, but they still allow me to play at great TPS.
40 colonists, no animals, 2 years in, 30 TPS lock with 22-23 FPS, changing speed has zero effect on either TPS or FPS, and it basically locks the game to 1-speed.
Now, I did load the mod in the middle of a save and it actually went pretty swell with no errors being caused, maybe except for the virtual 1-speed lock, but I'll give it a try I guess.
On the other hand, I think I actually get better peformance both in TPS and FPS with the mod off.
The mod's good in concept but there's one huge issue with it right now, and that's no customizability whatsoever. You either get your FPS or your TPS, not both apparently.
There definitely needs to be some sort of mod option to enable/disable or change how much the TPS/FPS compromise is. I'd like to use it, visually its pretty good to not have a slideshow, but I want a sort of compromise between decent FPS and decent TPS that I can modify on the go, not full-stop one or the other, without having to load and reload rimworld for 40 minutes to an hour and a half to load/unload the mod. But having basically-locked 30 TPS with 20 FPS doesn't seem worth the tradeoff to me.
I played with 300 mods, no lag spikes, and a whole game rehashed into medieval system/textures/gameplay, and on a gaming laptop that is 8-10 years older. You can even check my page there's a video on it.
Just edit your settings properly, follow some guide, do not add unnecessary mods that you hardly notice or cause a problem. I lasted 12 years on my game, 60-70 pawns (1 year on actual) without a TPS/FPS problem.
It just seems like a really weird mod to exist and to my mind at least without purpose. Also i can easily get people being confused by this mod sense a lot of people don't know that in this game and others like it the tps is the thing we care about for speed not fps.
FPS = how visually pleasing a game is
TPS = how fast your game actually run
