I got the GOG version for chirstmes
I also see that with how great ai now handles the development of the provinces, the only countries that wont embrace new institution in a matter of years are the american tribes.
African and asian nations are at the same tech and institution and the whole Europe, if not better, which makes colonisation in those places unrealistic and hard. I loved the difficulty but I just wish the mod made an exception to how hard it is for non european nations to advance in tech.
Played with the compatch with ante bellum, mod order should be correct
I did a playthrough as Burgunday, no balls, very hard and it was challenging until the end. The AI feels way more threatening now. A bit predictable too though, but this was always the case.
I have been using Responsible Warfare and Responsible Blobbing together with Xorme AI for a very long time now. (In fact, this is the only way I am willing to play the game at this point. Unfortunately, it is also makes me very unlikely to play EU5 . :-)
I have not played for about a week but I do not recall any such issues. I will play today and report back. I will try a new game, as well as a save.
