Doesn't work in anniversary edition. It shows that's the valuable when you go to sell it it shows much less value.
KrayZ RoarC 16.10.2023 klo 12.52
what the fork is those prices was that meant to be realistic or broken op? xD
мегабезмозглый💦 27.5.2023 klo 15.03
For some reason dont work for my vanilla skyrim. Well, sadly
likeslowdisappearing 15.1.2021 klo 1.54
anyone else not seeing a change of the prices when you kill a animal like it's still the base value but the mod is subscribed and loaded in?
Khorne Flakes 15.8.2020 klo 3.44
Holy crap, why even bother adventuring or going into a trade like smithing when you can hunt a few animals and live like a king?
sexxy_neighbour 23.4.2020 klo 1.54
Does anyone else have the problem of the item showing you its value with the mod, but you can only sell it for its original price?

Sir Rivet 26.5.2019 klo 9.52
yeah i mean keep in mind, skyrim has it's own currency, and animals are a lot more common then they are in real life. I think this is just a little TOO op and unbalenced. You can buy 3 or so steel battleaxes for the price of one bear pelt. That doesent make much sense.
Vampire Woona 2.2.2019 klo 11.38
unsubbing to switch to the nexus version. easier to sort it that way.
Terror 1.12.2018 klo 20.09
I want to point out that i agree that there are lots of people hunting in skyrim which makes the profit of fur go down. BUT skyrims prices for fur is Way too low which makes the sport almost unprofitable unless your getting yourself in danger over a poor amount of gold. Then that would make people stop hunting due to how little they got over a Bear that almost killed them.
Bear fur is only worth 50 which i think is way to low for how dangerous they are and how many are in the Rift.

If i marketed skyrims hunting profit. it would be

Bear Pelt: 50 -> 200
Cave Bear Pelt: 60 -> 400
Cow Hide: 10 -> 35
Deer Hide: 10 -> 50
Fox Pelt: 5 -> 40
Goat Hide: 5 -> 25
Horse Hide: 15 -> 75
Ice Wolf Pelt: 15 -> 100
Sabre Cat Pelt: 25 -> 250
Snow Bear Pelt: 75 -> 450
Snow Fox Pelt: 7 -> 100
Snowy Sabre Cat Pelt: 40 -> 400
Werewolf Pelt: 20 -> 2000
Wolf Pelt: 10 -> 50

This mod is close to it so its good to download.
Lets hear what you guy's would Price stuff if you marketed skyrims hunting prices
Vampire Woona 4.11.2018 klo 1.57
Just so you know Harvest Overhaul on the nexus has an optional mode for animal drop tables that conflicts with this mod. however, HO does NOT affect sell prices of said drops, so if youre like me, i reccomend enabling this mod first to get the sell prices, then loading HO afterwards for the drop tables.
Wulfenguard94 18.6.2018 klo 14.14
i would like to point out, that in the old days, the price of fox fur would have been higher than you have it here, and seeing as cows are a very widespread animal, with much ease of getting the hide, the cow hide prices would be about 3/4 to 1/2 the price you have it at. other than that, i find this mod to be very immersive.
Cerballossum13 1.1.2018 klo 16.57
Is there a dawnguard edition that also effects vale creatures?
shembrock 1.1.2018 klo 8.55
yo Munday, this is my Fav mod i have for Skyrim PC! thanks! but now i play Skyrim SE on Xbox, ever think of makin this mod for console? i'd pay for that!
.confession // 17.12.2017 klo 20.02
me too, looks nice, for some realistic economy and inflation haha
Jadtastic 16.12.2017 klo 20.21
Ok thanks I'll try that
magegang  [tekijä] 16.12.2017 klo 19.50
Sorry to hear that. Try making a save file after you have deleted the mod, and then reloading that new save. If that fails, you could also try making backup of all the mods you want to keep, and then validating your local files through steam.
Jadtastic 16.12.2017 klo 19.45
I can not unistall your mod can you help me please: so far I have tried (unsubing, then deleting the thehuntgames.esp files in steamapps/common/skyrim/data yet still when I load up a new game the prices are all based off your mod
Miri the Demon Fox 29.9.2017 klo 0.46
a mod which AIMS XD
Woah 28.7.2017 klo 21.42
Hey guys please look at the suggestions box and check out if that's a good idea or not
Jack Knife 15.6.2017 klo 16.34
The only issue I see with this is the comparison. It is stated in this mod's description that the real-life value of pelts and hides is not represented well in Skyrim, however, what needs to be kept in mind is that while in real life hunting is a well-practiced sport and occupation, it is much more significantly filled job in Skyrim's lore. Many more people hunt in Skyrim than in real life, and as a result, more pelts are on the market, and, as you can probably guess, their value goes down as a result.

I'm not saying 4KINGS is wrong in upping the price, it still seems rather small, even in how the world of tamriel works (Like omg a werewolf pelt...WTF Y U SO CHEAP) , it's just wrong to compare it to earth's economy. I dunno, maybe I'm overthinking it.

But in any case, I give this mod a pretty high rating, I like what it's trying to do. Keep it up! I just might tone the values down a little is all!

Question: Does the mod changes daggers into enchanted daggers? I'm using a lot of mods and one of them makes daggers always beeing powerful enchanted weapons. But I prefer to use normal weapons... Is it this mod that changes every dagger in the game?
Dhars 28.12.2016 klo 18.52
Awesome mod, makes hunting worth it, especially as an Archer..:steamhappy:
Truetobi91 14.12.2016 klo 8.53
Tried this mod for the first time the last few days and the first thing that came to my attention is, that even though I killed about 20 goats non of them dropped even one goat horn for building houses. I think this comes from being a mod for games without DLC's?
Raize 12.12.2016 klo 4.42
Update

I removed the mod and found out that it affects the buy and sell side. Prices are considerably low without this mod. So I'll just raise my speech skill then. :steamhappy:
Raize 12.12.2016 klo 4.35
Regarding the "Pelt Price Changes", does it affect the buying price of pelts only and not the selling price? My value when selling pelts is way below the new amount. But I guess that has something to do with my speechcraft skills. I'm still in the early part of the game.
HermaeusM0R4 7.12.2016 klo 14.41
There is a conflict between this mod and hearthfire that removes the chance for goat horns on goats killed. Also for anyone who wants this mod on Skyrim SE just move the .esp file from your Skyrim Data folder to your Skyrim Special Edition Data folder and check the box in your plugins list from NMM.
Jebuska_Qsan 15.11.2016 klo 10.34
Doesn`t working:(
Th3oriesMan 6.11.2016 klo 23.37
Any planes to update this for SSE? Would love to see it on the SSE Nexus; great mod.
66Gramms 23.9.2016 klo 8.24
For me it's just simply not working :'( I have some mods but the only one has a slight chance to make this one not working is Yeti's merchant mod... But I don't think so.
a-really-big-cat 23.8.2016 klo 19.45
@Mathison you may be using the wrong deer hide. There are 2 seperate items labeled "deer hide" in the game, but one is gotten from elk while the other is gotten from "Deer" (in fact caribou). The unofficial patch fixes this and names them differently.
Pocket 18.8.2016 klo 11.48
SERIOUSLY thank you
magegang  [tekijä] 11.8.2016 klo 17.59
@Mathison I only edited drops and prices. All the IDs remain the same, so im not sure whats happening there. I would try maybe putting this mod before hearthfire and see if that fixes the problem. :)
Alabaster 8.8.2016 klo 12.17
Thank you so much! I always liked to hunt in skyrim but now it has a purpose thank you!
kohbold 7.8.2016 klo 18.27
Does this mod interfere with Hearthfire? I only ask because since installing The Hunting Game I cannot create the Mounted Elk Head inside my home. It says I need Deer Hide even though I have 3 in my inventory (the recipe calls for only one). I really enjoy the mod so far, but it is currently hindering my house development in Hearthfire.
KEEPER 3.8.2016 klo 23.52
you sir deserve the immersive as fuck award.
Cassassin 23.7.2016 klo 6.16
@Neet Freak Ken - nah, just needs practice. This is how I play the Greatest Archer in Skyrim ♥
seanbyrne34 3.7.2016 klo 10.04
Does this mod work with ''Hunting in Skyrim''?
Cassassin 26.6.2016 klo 11.02
Thank you for this, I was looking for a 'lite' version of Hunting Rebalanced, and as a bonus I have some new armour to try as well =^.^=
indirect 23.5.2016 klo 22.41
This mod would be a 10/10 if it made Deer die to 1 arrow even at level 1. Deer taking 4-5 arrows is fucking STUPID.
trowbridge26 25.4.2016 klo 9.35
this is one of the best mods ever
TickleYoBooty 9.4.2016 klo 14.32
what is the armor
❂ Herorioc ❂ 1.4.2016 klo 4.18
Is there any way you can do a version were you have the orignal prices but that you keep the realistic drop rate?

I'm asking because to increase the drop rate AND the cost seems to me like "cheating" since you can make a fortune by hunting, not very realistic since hunters never really make a fortune but only decent amount of money and just enough to make a living.

Other then that, great mod! :steamhappy:
lucas 27.3.2016 klo 19.02
im pretty sure that dragon items would be more expensive than werewolf items
One Whole Dragon 27.3.2016 klo 18.05
Currently playing a Wood Elf hunter/assassin who prefers to catch his own food and sell the excess. This mod makes that not only a reliable source of food, but also a really good source of money.
Reman of Cyrodiil 18.2.2016 klo 9.04
nice mod, grey. it was so absolutely annoying roleplaying a hunter because the only thing you could do in the beginning to get rid of all your wolf pelts et cetera was making leather armor.
your mod makes the game mutch more realistic and less annoying for my favourite class. ^^
Nucleak 3.2.2016 klo 15.59
i have the armor mod but where do i get the archer armor
ben 18.1.2016 klo 17.58
Are there any mods that are strictly incompatible with this mod? I've loaded it in, but I've still got vanilla drops and prices.
Kåvid-nitån 8.1.2016 klo 4.27
Deers aren't droping any antlers.
Ginjin Fey 30.12.2015 klo 22.38
So I have had this mod for a while, but then it suddenly stopped working. Any ideas why? I have tried reinstalling the mod, but it didn't work.
