Church Stained Glass Windows and Architecture

Description
A wide selection of colors and saints images in stained, leaded glass, plus Gothic-style stonework.

*** UPDATE 2017-Dec-15: Added Sandstone mullions ***
*** UPDATE 2017-Nov-23: Brought up to 0.6, and added glass-breaking sound effect ***
*** UPDATE 2017-May-27: Optimized models to use far fewer polygons & textures/materials. ***

Hi all! This is a selection of various-colored 2x2 stained glass tiles, plus several stained glass saint images, perfect for decorating church & cathedral window spaces. As a bonus, it also includes 3 new small-block stone pieces to create a Gothic feel to your architecture.

The mod includes:
-- 15 2x2 stained-glass panes of various colors. Mix & match!
-- 8 2x4 stained glass images of saints
-- 3 small-block stone blocks for adding a Gothic look to the game's vanilla large arch (2-block) spaces
-- 3 of the same stone blocks but in Sandstone, for those who are using the Sandstone Blocks mod
-- 1 new "Stained Glass" component part (plus the Rough Sand & Basic Glass, which I copied from my Casement Windows mod)

As always, this is fully Survival ready. It uses the mill, kiln, and crafting table. It is highly optimized, containing various LODs (low-resolution versions for distant viewing). I've worked hard to keep this one easy on processors while still looking good.

The workflow for making these is:
1) Grind stone into rough sand at mill.
2) Combine rough sand with flax at kiln for basic glass.
3) Combine basic glass & dirt (for its minerals) at kiln for stained glass.
4) Combine stained glass and metal parts at crafting table for panes.

I can't wait to see what you all design with these!

***** NOTE ON THE STONE PIECES *****
I have made the stone pieces give the illusion of going right through the stained glass when you place them. This will make everything look tidy and beautiful. But it DOES take practice. Each stone piece has a hit box that is much smaller than the actual size of the piece itself. They are slightly offset too. Play with these in Creative mode. Use the Q, E, R, and Y rotation keys. All of the images you see above can be made in Creative and Survival. There is no magic, you don't have to dig around in the code. It can all be done in game.

And again, a heartfelt thank-you to CESky and his "Crown Glass" mod. He opened the door to making transparent glass in the game, and I'm in his debt! http://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=913240385

I hope you all have fun with this new mod. If you like the tools I bring to Medieval Engineers, please consider supporting my work at my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/stori3D_past. Ah, I see. Yeah, sounds like you'd pretty much have to start almost from scratch. Shame, this mod did look amazing.

Rewriting the SBC code for 25 items, basic re-export of 58 models into MWM objects would start it off. But then all the stonework mullions would have to be completely remodeled to use the new stone textures and fit the new vanilla block openings, and they all used a funky offset system so that the glass & stone could "mesh" together, which doesn't work right or at all in 0.7. It's kind of a dead-end.

What would be needed to update this mod to 0.7?

Some people still liked playing the 0.6.4 version, as that version of the game is more stable for folks. So I'm leaving this as is for those folks. If you'd like you update it to 0.7 or have a friend who would like to, I'm happy to let you do it, just with a credit line back to this original mod.
