Augment Extractor

Description
A simple mod that adds an object to second tier of inventors table, which can extract augments, collars and lures/reels.

It works entirely on vanilla items, but it can extract any mod augments/collars/lures/reels as long as they're formatted same way as the vanilla ones.

If you are spawning custom vanilla augments, be sure to change the name value in the augment object, because otherwise the extractor will give you a standard vanilla item. Same goes for collars, lures and reels - it identifies them by collar.name, lureType and reelType respectively.

Supports FU at the moment (03.02.2017)

Tested and works with C0bra5s Combinable Augments mod, however as my mod aims to work on vanilla items first and foremost, extracted combined augments can end up having finnicky tooltips with overly long descriptions.

This is the standalone version of the mod - it is integrated in FU. If you have FU, you don't need to subscribe to this.

Hi there, I subbed to your mod and the Combinable Augments mod at the same time and suddenly I can no longer hold shift to split stacks or quick stack into chests. Can you look into this to make sure this mod isn't causing it? I'll pm the other modder as well. I'm not sure which of the 2 mods did this to my game.

There's no data to recover the augment precisely in the vanilla game, it can only try to match up an augment from it's list.

Since any way to add data to get augments back exactly is not vanilla and not standardised, I didn't account for it.

@Mighty Annihilator would you mind if i tried to make a patch to have this mod restore the augment data to work with "Combinable Augments limit patch"? i would be making it public so i can use it with friends

oh i was just looking through your comments, and it look like the mod reconstructs the augments. i thought that it just pulled the item out of the item. it seems like when you add an augment on an item, it just adds its name and effect; it doesnt save metadata. meaning that its not a matter of this mod wiping it, but the base game.

hey, can you make this compatible with "Combinable Augments"? when you extract an augment using the augment extractor, it seems to wipe some data. it prevents you from being able to separate the augments, and resets the counter for "Combinable Augments limit patch", allowing you to stack an many as you want.
