Opis
Q: What this mod do?
A: Change several things in combat:
- Modify chance that the pilot bails. Value is based on Pilot morale, number of friendly ships around him, game difficulty, shield and hull percentage.
-- More morale less chance to bail (Xenon always have max morale)
-- More friendly ships around your target, more chance he will eject
-- More difficult game, more chance he will eject
-- calculation of chance start ih his shield is less than 5% and his hull is between 7 - 75%

- Ejected pilot is so grateful to you because you left him live that he turns to "friendly"... No more red escape pods around you to confuse.

- You can capture ALL Small and Medium class ships (Including Khaak and those sweet Xenon miners)

- Khaak and Xenon now talk when they under attack (Not sure you will understand them, but basically we all know what enemy can speak to you :) ). I love to talk to ejected Khaak pilots, they are so friendly and give you directions if you ask them :) Xenon are computers, they don't eject, just get disabled.

- Yisha as any good cheerleader, also talk little more during fight (She is probably nervous)


OK basically chance that pilot bail comparing Vanilla 3-15% is slightly bigger, especially if you are surrounded by enemies, play hard or very hard version.

Compatibility... It should work with any mod which don't change "Player Ship Attacks" in Notifications.xml

Tested with XR ver 4 and TO+HOL

Hello, is this save game compatbile? From the sounds of what the mod changes, I would think it does, but I wanted to make sure so I don't brick my save.

Can this be added/removed at will without a Save Edit?

Well, i got this mod for the neutral scape capsules, but now i found it really amusing, Yisha's remarks are very funny, the Khaak guys seems to be insulting me hehehe, i really didnt got this mod for the bail feature but at the end i got the xenon miner hehehe. Nice work!

I tried this mod because it sounded like I had a tiny chanse to get medium ships to bail with it..not a chanse... first off, its tilted towards hard and very hard play, anyone playing normal or easy is dead without a chanse of sucess. I killed 25-30 fighters with this in..not a single one bailed, and yes I'm playing normal play style. The comments are commical, the chosest I got with my ship shot to bits and playing with an medium fighter for minutes at a time was...-19%,close no cigar..thats what it said but playing a less hard game every number is a negative, theres no chanse NONE of caping ships in less than hard mode, so taking this back out, did better without it.

I'm going to give this a try. I'm on the latest build of version 4. I do like the idea of capturing the Xenon miners :)

as I said, it highly depends on game difficulty you play. Try to test it when you chase single enemy, go to menu and switch to easy than try couple shots, than go back to menu and switch to very hard.

Ah okay but is it supposed to be -15%? Because before when I first got the mod it was a +6% and a +15% chance and then it went negative.

That depends of game difficulty you choose... But you won't ever have much more than that, because over that percent, you captured ship already.
I suggest you try that with mod "Repair laser", you can that way repair ship you chase and start over till you cap it.
Vanilla chance to cap ship is flat 3-15% which made that 15% almost never.
