[Discontinued]Pipe Conveyor Expansion

Description
I'm not working on mods anymore!
I've put out this information on my page a while ago, but I'm still getting comments asking for updates.
More info here: https://gtm.you1.cn/id/argual/

Argual Industries proudly presents you the new dual-layer steel tubes!

Are You tired of seeing those boring Conveyor Tubes everywhere? You want to add some Conveyors to the outside of Your ship, but You fear they get blown up too easy? Well, then this is the product for You!

The Conveyor Pipes are almost the same cost as the vanilla ones (they have slightly different component requirements, but the material costs [the ingots] are only 1-2 ingot off).
Their base is made of Interior Plate, so you can carry only one kind of component, when you want to set up a system.

Although they work properly without it, it is highly recommended that you weld that extra Steel Plate layer on the pipe, so they can withstand the challenges of deep space and asteroid mining. The pipes are created with a design that can allow an extra 150 component thick steel plating for the large, and a 5 component thick plating for the small ones.

Argual Industries wish you safe and pirate-free journeys amongst the stars!

Tl;DR version:
They are reskinned conveyors with an extra 150/15/5 (150 for Large, 15 for Medium, 5 for Small) Steel Plate on the outmost layer, so they can withstand more pounding than the vanilla ones. The material costs are almost the same (except the 150/15/5 Steel Plate obviously). They all need 1 Interior Plate to place the base. There are also unarmored ones with slightly different model.

Tubes are unarmored, pipes are armored.

It is compatible with both Stable and Development branch.
Survival ready.

Currently in the mod:
- Conveyor Pipes (L/M/S)
> > straight, curved, slant, hub, T-shaped, corner, +-shaped, 5-sided, 4-sided
- Conveyor Pipe Adaptors (L/M/S)
> > straight, curved
- Conveyor Pipe Sorters (L/M/S)
> > straight, curved
- Pipe Connectors (L/M/S)
- Conveyor Pipeframes (M)
> > simple, sorter, distributor, transformer
- Pipe that blends into armor (L/M/S)
> > cubic, sloped (pipe through), sloped (pipe on face)

All blocks come with armored and unarmored variants, the armored ones possess extra detail (bolts and such).

Known Issues:
- None ATM.

If you like it, feel free to leave a comment, feedback (positive AND negative too, but please elaborate the latter, don't just write "It's sh*t.", because I can't fix that :D) is always appreciated!

I want to keep my mods "consistent". What I mean is that I won't add a lot of non-conveyor parts to a mod that is about item transporting blocks. I won't add things that differ a lot from items already in the mod. There may be a few exceptions, but most of the time they have a good reason. So pls, don't suggest stuff that maybe would go well WITH the mod.

Example
My maintenance tunnels mod could include tunnels with lights or text panels, but those segments would not transport items. They won't be implemented, even if you ask for it a thousand times. However, there are doors already implemented. They are an exception, because even though they aren't conveyors, they serve as a closeable entrance to the tunnel system.

Thank you for your understanding.

I would like to thank Shaostoul for giving me permission to access and use the textures he made for his own mods.
He is also the one who created the tutorial videos that helped me make this mod a reality.

Also Killer96 helped me out while I was having a problem with the collision meshes, I would like to thank him for his aid.

If you have a problem (bug, etc):
Try going in your "%AppData%/Space Engineers/Mods" folder, and delete everything in it. That should make the game redownload the files next time you load a world with the mod. I can't deal with local problems, happening only to a handful of people. They are usually due to fault in the computer, game or mod files. The absolute first thing to do should not be asking to help, first try to figure out what could cause the issue.

Don't take this the wrong way, I'm just a bit tired of 5/10 bug reports being fixed by a simple redownload or game verification, and an additional 4 isn't even real, the user just misread something or forgot to add the mod.

TL;DR: When you find a problem, think, sit on it for 10 minutes at least, then act. Thanks!

Hi @Argual. Unfortunately due to changes in the game in Economy update there is a crash with your mod. It is going to be patched around so it does not crashes the game, but please update you Connector definitons to contain this "<Definition xsi:type="MyObjectBuilder_ShipConnectorDefinition">" :)

Hi I know that both of you have stopped updating your mods. But it seems that the new update broke the connectors in this mod. When I try to access the connector (with the engineer) the game crashes.
Will It be OK for me to try to fix this??

Only issue I have found with this mod is some of the connector lights don't work and it doesn't take the new armor textures, easy enough to live with though :)

Hi, the game crashes when I try to access connector pipes from console. Thanks!

This is working for me although I don't use sorters since I use the Isy's sorting script. I love the look and function of this mod, wonderful to not have extra connection points from junctions. Hopefully it keeps working (good chances since not much to break).
