Shadowrun: Hong Kong (Expanded)

Description
This mod allows you to play the official Hong Kong campaign with Banjo's various unofficial patch and "tweak" mods applied. Importing an existing character is also now enabled.

IMPLEMENTED MODS:

SR:HK Slap Patch
http://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=567429614

Selective SMGs (SRHK)
http://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=568977716

Canine Companions (SRHK)
http://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=570718056

Classic Drones (SRHK)
http://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=577167036

ALL the above mods are REQUIRED in order to play this version of the official Hong Kong campaign.
You can find all the details about these mods and what they do does on the above pages.

COMPATIBILITY:
Currently based on SR:HK v3.0.8.
Tested on the Windows GOG (v3.0.7) and Steam (v3.0.8) versions of the game, but should work fine with other installs (such as Humble Store, Mac OS or Linux) too.

USAGE:
To play the official campaign with the above fixes and tweaks included, simply start a new game using the included 'Hong Kong (Expanded)' story.

ADVANCED USERS:
If you wish, you can rename the files from .cpz to .zip and unpack them, but should be no need to do so unless you're a curious modder wanting to check out the changes made directly.

FEEDBACK:
Feedback is welcome, but please leave comments and ask questions relating to specific mods on their own Workshop pages (e.g. comment on the Selective SMGs mod on the Selective SMGs page, not this one).

NOTE:
This mod will be first and foremost hosted, updated and discussed on the Nexus:
http://www.nexusmods.com/shadowrunhongkong/mods/14
However, I will try to keep this Workshop version up to date too for those who use the Steam version of Shadowrun: Hong Kong.

@BishopSteiner

that's because this version works only from before Shadowrun HK was updated.
say, you'd need to use a save game from before the roll-out of the extension

Matrix Glitch kills game?

seems like every time I try to enter the matrix or by decking stuff, the game totally freeezes?

1000 times as much*

To give you an idea of how little value they have in the game's industry purely from a profit/sales perspective they got bought for 7.5 million. Compare that to Bethesda being bought for 7.5 BILLION (literally 100 times as much lol) or Blizzard being bought for 68.7 Billion.

Harebrained Schemes and companeis like them are actually tiny fish in a huge ocean and they honestly need people like you to help keeping these games a viable venture since they already skate so close to the edge. I'm honestly just happy that Necropolis failing didn't kill them. They are about the size of studio that can die from one unsuccessful game.

Honestly I wouldn't hold it against them too much Banjo. It's not a huge company and they have limited resources. Their games don't sell either terrible nor super well. Despite being top tier quality for their genre they only get modest amounts of sales. There really are not many games that can compete with the Shadowrun trilogy or Battletech out there and that's prolly not gonna change. Unfortunately we're a niche market.

TBH the bugs you speak of that cannot be fixed with mods can't be too crazy, I've had several playthroughs of the game and I don't even know what you speak of. As someone who has spent so much time improving their game with your mod I thank you for your hard work, but you might have to step back and realize that your experience is very different from the average customer just playing the game through.

As video game QA I turn the QA side of my brain off when I play games. Otherwise I could nit pick even my favorite games to death lol.

Ctolm, sadly I don't think so. They changed a bit and I haven't had chance to edit the mod to support it, if it could. I would love to someday but to be honest I lost a lot of interest in the way the devs treated their customers and fans by abandoning the games in favour of their next product, refusing to fix outstanding bugs that cannot be fixed with mods. :(

I know this is a long shot but is there a way to use a save from this in the bonus campaign? I hadn't realised this would be an issue before playing a full campaign and I just don't have the heart to do it all again.

Love this game. Nice and slow, think before you make decisions.

Very nice! Are you planning to do this for the bonus campaign?
