NOTE REGARDING THE NEWEST EXPANSION:

Hi folks! I haven't verified that this works in the new expansion myself yet, but I would be beyond shocked if it did not. The small amount of code contained in this mod is extremely safe (see for yourself in my overcommented code!), so it should not cause any problems. If it does, please let me know and I will do my best to try and find time to fix it (as well as a couple of other reported issues I'd love to dig into).

Thanks!

I don't play this much anymore, but if there are any problems please try to give me any context and I'll see what I can do! I've seen reports of the game freezing for a handful of people but I've never gotten any more information than that so I can't do anything about it. :(

---

KNOWN ISSUE: Closing the graph does not unpause the game automatically. Pausing functionality should not otherwise be disrupted.

Source can be found here: https://github.com/Alakaiser/Cities-Skylines-Stat-Button/blob/master/City%20Statistics%20Button/StatButton.cs

Most of it you can already find easily, but I commented the hell out of it. I tend to get lost if I don't. Cheers!

Update 3/16/15: Button should display properly for 16:10 and 4:3 aspect ratios.

Fundamentally, the statistics presented are useless. This may not be a problem with this mod but a problem with the game itself. If the game reports bad data, the mod can only pass along what it is given. Or, it may be that the mod is misidentifying the statistics that it is reporting.

The Death_Rate, Birth_Rate, and Influx_Rate do not add up to the change in population.

Simply, Change_In_Population = Birth_Rate + Influx_Rate - Death_Rate.

The time period for Birth, Death, and Influx rates are per week. Population is reported in total population for the week being reported.

For example, a particular game I am playing, shows

Birth_rate = 477 persons/week
Influx_rate = 466 persons/week
Death_rate = 130 persons/week

It is obvious from inspection that the change in population is positive, specifically 813 persons/week. But, the population is shown to be falling, rather drastically, This is generally apparent whatever the values may be.

This just doesn't work.

This mod was released on release week. There have been lots of statistics added in the last 10 or so expansions. I would be surprised it worked at all in the last several years.

But the source code is listed for anyone wanting to make it work.

@NOiZE I had a problem yesterday while I was playing the game. I run this mod and looked at my population change. Everything is fine until I click "City Value" and then the game itself stops responding. I don't use this mod a lot, but I don't understand why that occurs and it makes a bit concern.

After the parklife update i cannot resume my game after i opened the statistics, it will remain paused no matter how often i press play :-)

@Xebtria After the Parklife DLC was installed, including the free update, strangely whenever I ran my game, the game screen size is much bigger. For some reasons, the button for mod doesn't appear when I am playing the game, but it does appear in my menu, along with the Option, Save Game, and Load Game, and etc. I don't know if it has to do with the update or my game driver update, but though it become a bit inconvenient, at least the mod is working.

Is this mod going to be updated for Parklife that came out today? I have not tested it, but I am going to wait for at least a week now.
