Class 50 - Swindon to London Paddington

Description
This scenario is for the Great Western Mainline to Swindon BR Blue Period available for download from the Workshop - http://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=399732174, a route that I helped to create as a member of the BR Blue Team.

Set in the BR Blue Period you will be driving a Class 50 hauled express from Swindon to London Paddington calling at Didcot and Reading.

NB. As this scenario is a conversion from a scenario previously originating at Oxford the scenery will take a couple of minutes to load when the scenario starts, will have almost completed by the time passengers have boarded.

NB. Requires GWML Mainline to Swindon, WCML Over Shap, Falmouth Branch, BR Class 101 and Class 50 add ons.

Duration - 80 mins. approx.

That was a lovely run, really enjoyed hurtling through the countryside into London, and it was a real trip down memory lane for me.

Thanks John - working on another Route at the moment but there are other scenarios available from myself and brysonman46 for this Route......you should be able to search for them here on the Workshop.

a good trip, AI and signals all ok,kept the run at 90 max, makes the run a little tedious at times,
but , still very good. many thanks..........................................

Thanks for the comment Roland, to be honest I never even thought about any stock speed restrictions so assumed that the train would be driven at 100 mph.

Just done the run to as far as Didcot, I was running at 100mph. When I got to Didcot I thought I had better check if there were any restricted rolling stock, speed wise. there is: The Buffet car "SK" class is restricted to 90 mph. In the strive for reality {simulation wise} it would be good if this was mentioned, where it can be seen at the top of the "F1" list. You chaps have made an excellent creation and I wish to add my "Congratulations". Roland.

Thanks for the comments - I have a night-time version of this scenario which I used to test the lighting on the new Swindon to Didcot section, it is exactly the same as this scenario with the same AI etc. but set in the hours of darkness.....if there is any interest let me know and I will publish it on the Workshop.
