Region of Schelbergen and Grafenfeld

Descripción
Fictional Germany/the Netherlands based region with winding rivers, rolling hills, river delta's and fast forests. Citynames are fictional. The region has an extensive highway network and almost no industries. So you're free to build it up further. If you have any questions let me know!

Do I really need the deluxe edition for this?

OK, I understand. I don't think there's any problem with cities and forests being mixed together because it's a natural phenomenon. I agree with you. However, apart from talking about the target area, the city and forest are clearly distinguished, so I asked if there was any trick to it. In my case, houses sometimes start being built on unintended roads, resulting in a mix of forest and city, so I was wondering if there was any trick to doing so.

I think if you make them locked they can't grow into the forsest/fields. Some places i did this, some places i didn't. I have less problem with cities growing into the forests then into the fields. Into the forests always looks less messy then into gridded fields.

The forest and the city are firmly separated.
The AI will encroach on the forest area and build houses, but how do you control that? I'd like to know if there was a method you used to preserve the forest and make the city bigger. Of course, there are many ways to do this, but I was wondering what method you used.
