T-80BVM

The T-80BVM is derived from a plan currently being promoted by the Russian army. The plan aims to modernize the former Soviet Union's T-80BV to the level of T-72B3 and T-90M, while unifying the specifications. The modification includes installing a set of the latest fire control system for the commander and gunner; adapting to the 9M119M1 tandem warhead missile; and replacing the old "Contact-1" explosive reactive system with "Fossil". With the new explosive reactive support, its protection against armor-piercing and armor-piercing shells has been greatly improved.

The T-80BVM was modernized by the heavy machinery manufacturing plant in Omsk and is an active equipment of the Marine Corps and mechanized infantry under the Russian Federation Armed Forces.
