The Great Model State | Manchukuo Remastered & Expanded

Description
THE GREAT MODEL STATE | A MANCHUKUO FOCUS TREE (REMASTERED & EXPANDED)

Manchukuo, envisioned as Japan's Great Model State, stands at a pivotal crossroads. Historically a puppet under Japanese dominion, the nation's future now teeters between continued subjugation and the dawn of a new, sovereign era.

As global tensions escalate and the winds of war intensify, Manchukuo has drawn the attention of ambitious powers. The time has come to decide the fate of our nation. Will we remain under the shadow of the Japanese Empire, or will we break free and forge our own destiny?

Featuring seven different potential endings and over 300 focuses, this mod offers a new way to play as Manchukuo.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What's New:

A Truly Democratic Manchurian Focus Path -
In the original TGMS, the closest option to a Democratic path was through Empress Wanrong. Now, there is a fully fleshed-out and unique Democratic path.

A Communist Focus Path -
Previously, in the original TGMS, the only way to make Manchukuo Communist was at the end of Empress Wanrong's focus path. Now, the Communist rebels and bandits have their own unique focus paths.

Condensed and More Engaging Focuses -
In the first version of TGMS, many focuses were unnecessarily drawn out, such as the administration focuses. These have now been condensed into one or two focuses to free up space for more engaging and fulfilling content.

Additional Nations -
Originally, TGMS only provided a focus tree for Manchukuo. Now, Mengkukuo has its own short focus tree, with future expansions planned. Mengkukuo isn’t the only new nation: through the Manchurian focus tree, an autonomous government can be established in Eastern Dornod to contend with Mongolia. While this nation currently has no focus tree, one is planned for future updates.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
This mod is a remaster of the original The Great Model State (TGMS). I originally planned to release it after completing my main project, Pax Americana, but progress on that project has been slower than expected, and I've been struggling with writer's block for a while now.

Unlike the original The Great Model State (TGMS), this remaster is designed to be played in one of three ways: on its own in vanilla HOI4, with RT56, or with Hagakure. Any other combinations involving this mod and additional content are not supported.

(RT56 Compatibility is on hold)

This remaster includes fewer focuses but offers more choices for playstyles and paths, and overall, it is of higher quality than the original.

Please report any issues you encounter in the mod, along with details of what you were doing prior to encountering the bug.

The Discord server is no longer supported, and has now been replaced with a Revolt server.
Server Code: https://rvlt.gg/P4mNgyCk

I am aware that the national spirits lack GFX. No, I won’t be adding them. If you or someone you know is interested in creating GFX for the national spirits and has the skills to do so, please contact me.

DISCLAIMER:
This mod and any of its content may only be distributed, published, or used in any form by the original mod author or by mods that have contributed resources to this project. This includes, but is not limited to, remakes, remasters, or mod packs.

@TheBigE Did you make sure it gave the 100% bonus multiple times? Because you're supposed to get a one-time use 100% bonus.

'Wargaming Division' gives a 100% research speed bonus, even though doctrines are no longer researched over time and instead unlock instantly on click.

@Vaerenn Then I genuinely have no clue, the only thing I could think of if you ONLY changed the portraits would either be you put them in the wrong format, or one of the portraits isn't the correct size.

@Mr.Burke I didn't alter the game files. I tried to simply replace some portraits, that shouldn't mess with the rest of the game but it did.
On a side note, I got it to work with RT56 by deleting the state files. so my problems with it are done.

@Vaerenn You weren't supposed to alter the game files, you did so at your own risk and now you've either messed something up in your documentation or your game folder. The only thing you can do is try to verify your game files through Steam, and if that doesn't work then you have to reinstall the game.

@Mr.Burke I reinstalled it and it still did it.

@Vaerenn Then don't edit the mod:secretweapon_hoi:

When I edited some of the portraits of the mod, it for some reason broke Hitler's portrait and the national spirits of a lot of countries.

@nflmaddenguy No, I wanted the portraits to be black and white. Some of them were in color when I found them and I made them black and white. The only portrait which has color is Wanrong, as I believe a black and white portrait can't do justice to her beauty.
