Description

This is a simple mod that adds chat commands to make use of in a Co-op adventure. Have you ever felt like it was tedious following your friends around as they searched every corner of the map? Have you ever needed to go to the bathroom or grab a bite to eat in the middle of your 3rd try at an hour long fight? Have you ever just started falling asleep while your friend sits there taking eons to decide on their moves? This mod adds chat commands to fulfill certain needs not available when other players are present, hoping to smooth out the gameplay loop and lead to less downtime.

This mod requires Norbyte's Script Extender, found HERE[github.com].

Available Chat Commands:

!Afk, !afk, !Afk CharacterName, !afk CharacterName

This first command will give you an AI controlled status, allowing your character to fight semi - autonomously while you do what you need to do away from the computer, use it to take over for a few turns or just play around with AI controlled actions for a character if you feel like it.

You can optionally supply a character name to set another character to afk other than your own, which will use a string compare to find the first closest match to what you typed. If no name is provided it will default to your selected character.

!Back, !back, !B

This command will remove the AFK status given by the command above, allowing you to regain control over your character.

!AIEndTurn, !aiendturn, !AIET

This command is useful for when the AI breaks during combat, which can happen occasionally or when alot of mods/overhauls are installed. Sometimes the AI will just not decide on any actions and sit there indefinitely, causing you to have to reload your game. Well, not anymore! If the AI gets softlocked, you can use this command to forceably end their turn, hopefully allowing you to move on in the combat! Note that this is intended for stopping bugs/softlocks, and shouldn't be used to cheese fights by repeatedly ending their turns.

!Follow CharacterName, !follow CharacterName, !F CharacterName

This command puts you into an auto controlled mode that will follow the character you specified. You have to specify the character display name, ie. Lohse, The Red Prince, Ifan etc, for it to work and will use a string compare to find the first closest match to what you typed.

This will cause you to follow the character while outside of combat, but will end if you take damage while it is active.

!Unfollow, !unfollow !UF

This command will clear your follow status specified by the previous command, allowing you to control your character again.

This mod was a big want for my friends as we play together, and was made possible thanks to Focus' work on Glyphwarden, which had the basics of the chat command code in it that I used as a blueprint to make this mod. Let me know if you have any other commands that I should add that wouldn't cause issues or balance problems!

Disclaimer, this mod will not work for controller users since they do not have a chat box, the image is just a lazy and nice looking co-op image from google.
